(Y/N) pov:
I felt the hot breeze brushing against my face, it almost felt like it was burning. I was sweating slightly as I opened my eyes. I was flat on my back, laying there staring at the sky. But, the first moment I opened my eyes, I knew something was wrong. The sky was blood red, and the clouds were black. The whole atmosphere had a much different feel to it.
Was I dead? Was I in hell? Probably both.
I looked around and I was on a road of some sort. There were sidewalks and buildings but they looked much different from where I was from. If I was in hell, this isn't anything like the stereotypical hell I've heard of in stories.
I got up slowly. I looked at my hand and everything was normal, body wise. I sighed in relief.
"I'm alive..." I mumbled to myself.
My moment of relief was then interrupted by what sounded like a car honking. I looked to the left and my eyes widened at the sight. A car was zooming right at me. Out of pure instinct, I dived and rolled out of the way. I looked at the car that zoomed by, then looked up. I then saw an object fall down from the sky. I moved out of the way and it landed where I was standing. I walked back and started to look around frantically.
"Where the hell am I?" I asked myself.
"Hell..." I heard a seductive voice coming from behind me.
I turned around to see who said that. I then saw a woman with a mad wide grin, sharp teeth, a unconventional outfit, and long blond pinkish hair looking at me.
I looked at her with a brow raised. "What are you talking about?" I asked, feeling slightly provoked.
"You're in Hell, newbie!" She said wearing that deranged grin of hers.
"Hell? Like in Hell-Hell?" I said, throwing up hand gestures.
She continued to grin. "Yeah. Like in Hell-Hell!" She exclaimed, following a maniacal laugh. This chick started to freak me out. "Looks like you stepped into the lion's den now!" She said with a maniacal tone.
I stepped back slightly and put my hands in my pockets. I sighed and looked down to the side. "Well, shit..." I muttered.
"Well shit is right..." She said, jumping down from the platform she was on. She then stepped towards me. "Not to mention it, but you're on my turf!" She said, pulling out a couple of bombs. She stared me down with that psychotic grin of hers.
I put my hands in front of me. "Whoa! Whoa! Lady! Look! I'm not looking for any trouble!" I tried to reason with her. She then stopped and laughed. She then threw the bombs away somewhere and they exploded shortly after.
She chuckled. "I'm just fucking with ya! Name's Cherri, mate! Fancy seeing a member of the land of the living!" She remarked, playfully.
"Uh... (Y/N). (Y/N) (L/N). Pleased to meet you." I replied with a deadpan tone, shaking her hand.
"So, (Y/N). What brings you here? Oh wait, I know! You jumped through a vortex, or some shit?" She asked, putting her hands on her hips.
I rubbed my head. "You're probably not going to believe this... but I-" I was then cut off by an explosion in the background. I turned around. "What the hell was that?" I questioned.
Cherri and I looked up to see a flying ship in the sky, shoot at everything down below. "That Edge Lord again? God, this shit is getting old." She said smiling, fiddling with a bomb.
I looked at her with a brow raised. "Edge Lord? What are you talking about" I asked her.
"It's a long story. You tagging along?" She asked with a her unibrow narrowed.
