Progress Update: I'm Still Here & Fun Info

I just want to come forth and apologize for being very quiet and distant. I'll be honest, IRL stuff, and a bunch of other stuff, etc. Things have changed, and my setup is displaced.

I DO still want to continue writing this, it's just been hard, and... I haven't been able to keep my old schedule, where I released like 6 chapters within 2 weeks or so.

Needless to say, my chapter release schedule has been very borked, and I'm sorry for not saying something earlier.

I'm by no means abandoning this story, I've literally been thinking of stuff, and adding bits here and there in my planning process, it's just a matter of typing it all out.

I'm also gonna make a few points clear.

My theming for this story, is definitely going to convey and include VERY dark themes. (Sorry if you're squeamish) I don't condone anything bad or messed up that happens in this fanfic, IRL.

I've updated the names for Y/n's family, so they have real names. Easier for me, and you can always imagine your OC Y/n insert is adopted, etc.

And, Y/n does have a name, It's Arik Writer, but I'm gonna still continue to type it as Y/n L/n or at least Y/n Writer. If at any point I type out Arik instead of Y/n, that is why. (Freudian slips suck, lol)

This is still a reader insert story, so I'm going to keep using Y/n, obviously.

I'm also, sadly going to be closing the Q&A chapter, meaning I'm not answering RPish questions on that Q&A chapter, mainly cause I don't have time and enough effort to answer each and every single one. And I'm sorry for that, tbh.

I may make another Q&A again after a bit of time, cause it definitely is fun.

I'm also, going to try my hand at oneshots, but I'll keep them shorter to only 2,000 words or so. Both SFW, and NSFW. (Some scenarios may vary, depending on what is asked, but I should be ok with mostly anything)

And, HOLY CRAP. 45K reads!? This is insane! When I first started this fanfic, I was expecting MAYBE like 5 people to like it, 12 at MOST.

I have to say, it's crazy, and heartwarming to see that this many people saw my story in some form.
