I was woken up by the sweet smell coming from the kitchen, I stood up from the bed. He didn't sleep here, I said, seems he doesn't want anything to do with me, I said sadly. I walked into the bathroom to have a shower and walked out with a towel tied to my body. I put on one of his shirts and left the room.
I walked into the sitting room when I saw him walk in.

Where are you coming from, I asked in anger, still in the clothes you wore yesterday.

None of your business, he said as he tried to leave.

I blocked his path,  you're not going anywhere until you answer me I said.

Get out of my way, he shouted.

I will not until you tell me where you're coming from.

Get out of my way, he said push me making me fall on my butt.

It hurts, I cried out.

I told you to get out of my way,  but your stubbornness made you deaf, I'm not in the mood to argue with you, he said and turned to leave.

I stood up to grab him when my phone rang, when I'm done with the call, I'll get back to you.

Do whatever you wish, he said and walked away.

I took the call, and I quickly recognized the caller from the voice. The phone fell from my hand as I held what the doctor just said. Your father just passed, condolences he said.

No that can't be,  maybe I heard wrong I screamed.
Sebastian and his mother ran out as they heard my scream.

What going on, she asked scared.

My, I stammered, my dad is dead I said as tears rolled down my cheek.

Oh no, she said as she held me in her arms.

No that's not true, my dad is still alive,  maybe the doctor is just pulling my legs, I said and pulled away from her embrace. I want to see my father, I shouted like a crazy person and tried to leave when he held me back.

You need to calm down first.

Let go me, I started hitting him when he lifted me in his arms and carried me to the room. He dropped me roughly on the bed, you're not going anywhere until you calm he said.

I just want to see my dad, I said as tears filled my eyes, he looked away to avoid my teary eyes as he left the room locking the door behind me.

Let me out, I shouted and kept banging on the door. I gave up when it dawned on me that he wasn't going to open up. I went back to sit on the bed, memories of my dad and I flashed in. Dad never made me feel lonely,  even when he was busy at work,  he always made time for me. Even when I made mistakes he never once punished me. He loves me so much that he can't stand when I'm hurt. I remember when I fell sick he had to abandon what he was doing, even though it was very important just to take care of me. But how did I pay him back, all I did was bring him sadness, I didn't know he was sick what type of daughter am I, I sobbed.

The door went up as Sebastian walked in holding a bag, he gave it to me. I opened it and saw a dress inside, put it on, I noticed you were wearing my shirt and you can't go out looking at that he said.
So he cares about me, I thought. Thanks, I said.

You don't have to thank me, I did what I was supposed to do, I'll be waiting outside so you can get change he said and left.

I wore the dress and walked out of the room.

Not bad, he said as he saw me, your eyes are swollen are you sure you want to leave looking like this, he asked.

I just nodded my head
