my next soulmate the guardian of darkness

Rui and Ange were sent through the dimensional door to a dark and gloomy planet that seemed to be shrouded in fog

"How is anyone supposed to see anything with a this fog around" Rui said as ange grabbed her hand so they wouldn't lose each other

"We should stay close together we don't know what sort of trouble we might encounter here" Ange said "no doubt about that" Rui said

"Planet Kirieviru" Ange said excitedly "hm you sound like your excited" Rui said looking at ange with big doe eyes "oh...well this planet was in ruin before I'm just glad it's gotten better" Ange said

"Is that so...I'm glad" Rui said leaning her chin against her hand "but still we should probably focus on finding the guardian of darkness" Rui said

"The third guardian...let's do our best to find him Rui" Ange said as she forgot to stay close to Rui "she's hopeless...but kind" Rui said as she follows after ange

Ange coughed at all the smoke coming from the chimneys in the factory's nearby "there's always something lost in exchange for progress" Ange said

"You can't even see the sky with all the smoke in the air...ugh...it's Making me nauseous" Rui said Ange looked at Rui worried "I'm fine I'm just kidding" Rui said sweatdropping

"Cultivation sure is difficult..." Ange said "I heard there's a party going on it's likely the guardian of darkness is there right now" Rui said

"It's probably over by now" Rui added as the purple jewel on ange's bracelet glows "well at least we can follow the light on your bracelet to find him easier" Rui said

They followed the light only for it to lead them to an abandoned mansion "it's in ruins no matter how it looks" Ange said

Rui walked forward "eh...Rui wait...are you sure we should just walk in like this" Ange said as Rui turned to face Ange with a deadpan look

"You said so yourself it's in ruin so nobody's going to just show up and stop us from going in" Rui said with a deadpan look on her face

"I suppose your right" Ange said thinking about Rui's words "so there's nothing to worry about...all we have to do is convince him to come to the holy land" Rui said

"But...how do we even know he's here aside from the glowing gem" Ange said making Rui stop walking and turn around to face her

"wouldn't you want to go somewhere dark and quiet so you could rest easily without interruption" Rui said sadly sounding like she's been through that ordeal before

The gate opened on it's own "it's open..." Ange said as Rui paid no mind to it and kept walking inside "eh why aren't you scared" Ange said confused

"Stuff like this doesn't scare me...toxic relationships do...being a matchmaking goddess in training I have to make sure toxic relationships are at zero percent" Rui said as she opened the door to the building

"Let's go in" Rui said as ange held her hand so they wouldn't get separated from each other "Ange you don't need to hold my hand I'm right next to you" Rui said sweatdropping

Rui saw a door open and ange did too as Rui walked forward peeking inside along with Ange who was following behind her

"Do you have to follow me around like a little puppy" Rui said rather sharply "sorry" Ange said as Rui sighed and she saw a figure laying on the bed nearby

They both walked up to the sleeping figure and Rui admired his sleeping face as she reached out to touch his hand he awoke to find a dazzling beauty in front of him

Francis's pov

'Who is she' I thought to myself as I stared in her eyes which made my heart pound 'she looks like my dear Emma' I thought to myself

"Good evening little lady" I said sitting up admiring her enchanting beauty 'she's like an angel...her beauty is otherworldly' I thought to myself

3rd person pov

After explaining the whole situation to Francis "the queen and the holy land...  the guardian of darkness...the crisis of the universe" Francis said repeating what they said to himself

"It truly appears to be a grandoise story" Francis said "Indeed I don't think you'll believe us so soon..." Ange said "who would honestly it does sound a little far fetched now that I think about it" Rui said with a small sigh

"I believe you..." Francis said surprising both girls "if I can't believe in the words of lovely ladies like you two...what should I believe in" Francis said

Rui was not expecting that at all this made ange baffled "however...accepting the responsibility of a guardian is another story" Francis added

"I knew it wouldn't be that easy" Rui said with a pout "please allow me to explain what important jobs a guardian has" Ange said

"And how wonderful it is to Cultivate and protect the..." but Francis shushed her before she could continue her words

Francis turned to face them "can't you hear it....this is an abandoned place where balls were held" Francis said as Rui closed her eyes to imagine it

"The soft sound of dance music during these evening memories that have passed..." then he grabbed Rui's hand  "would you like to dance with me lady" Francis said

Rui was about to respond but Ange beat her to it "Francis San please listen seriously" Ange said as Rui frowned "ah please don't make that face ladies...I'll hear you out" Francis said

"Now let's move to a different place...to my mansion" Francis said as he led the way out of the abandoned building

Rui sighed as both her and Ange followed Francis back to his mansion to talk about him as the guardian of darkness Rui couldn't help but fall asleep as they were in a carriage...
