Victor the gentle giant

Victor was walking around the compound and saw Ange watching over the refugees "you were looking after the refugees even at this hour" Victor said

"Everyone must be troubled staying at a place their not used to" Ange said "so this is where you were Ange" a familiar voice said

Victor looked over and saw Rui making eye contact with her "I'm sure there's a good reason why you couldn't contact me to make sure you got there safely" Rui said walking up to them

"I forgot to call sorry...but in any case why are you here I thought you were supposed to be back at the castle with the others" Ange said

"I'll tell you later" Rui said "are you here to summon me to the holy land as well" Victor said "wow your a giant...look how tall you are" Rui said amazed by his height

Victor couldn't help but chuckle at this reaction "but no I didn't come all the way out here for you specifically I came here to deal with a situation but I'm finished now" Rui said

"Hm finished with what?" Ange said confused "you don't need to worry about it" Rui said waving off their worried expressions

"I swear to offer myself to the seijuu universe and the queen...with you both that is" Victor said suddenly making Rui secretly smile under her breath "we're counting on you" Ange said with a smile

They went back to the shinchou holy land...

Julius was sitting in a chair while Luva was beside him standing "I see...you've made up your mind to be a guardian" Julius said

"I was safely able to finish evacuating people in the red planet, after all it may be selfish of me...but with this, my work in the expeditionary forse..." Victor said absent-mindedly cutting himself off

"You've done well up to now, you must use your power to contribute the development of the seijuu universe from now on" Julius said

"I'll support you as another guardian of earth" Luva said "thank you very much Julius sama, Luva sama" Victor said as Rui got pulled out of the room by violet

"Ernst is missing" violet said "say what?! Where did he go and why" Rui said "he was disappointed that he didn't do something to stop the disaster himself" violet said

"I'm gonna go look for him" Rui said "that reminds me before you go I have something to give you make sure yo read it later" violet said handing Rui a letter and Rui grabbed it and put it in her pocket

Rui's pov

I ran all over the place just to look for him and then saw him sitting on a bench all by himself I slowly walked forward towards him

"Ernst" I said catching his attention I put my hands on my hips "this is where you were you got me and everyone else running around the place looking for you" I said and sat next to him

"Ernst sama" ange said as ange and Victor arrived "come and join us" I said "general Victor" Ernst said shocked "he became a guardian too" I said

"I see...I'm sure a general like you from the royal expeditionary forse can perform your duties well" Ernst said sadly

3rd person pov

"I first realized weight of bearing the responsibility of a guardian when I failed...the fact that my power can influence the fate of the universe...it was a dreadful fear for me" Ernst said

"Everyone is afraid of something" Rui said making Ernst, Victor and Ange turn towards Rui "I'm not that fond of water in fact I'm terrified..." Rui said

"When I was little I fell off the boat and I almost drowned I was absolutely terrified...I didn't know if I would make it or not..." Rui said standing up

"But my brother rescued me just in time..." Rui said turning towards Ernst "I know your upset I get that we've all had our bad days but mistakes happen that's all just a part of life" Rui said

"You have people you can depend on to share your troubles with if your upset... just like my brother...there's people you can reach out to help you if needed" Rui said

"So...please come back" Rui said as she held her hand out for him to grab a hold of...Ernst reached out his hand at first he hesitated then he grabbed her hand

'How did us guardians...get so lucky with a soulmate such as this...we're so lucky' Ernst thought to himself as he walked with Rui back to the castle of seijuu

Rui walked Hand in hand with Ernst as ange and Victor followed from behind "well it seems like our soulmate is full of surprises" Victor said

"She is amazing" Ange said in agreement with Victor "she's also the the goddess of matchmaking" Ange said "still in training goddess" Rui said hearing them from behind

"Nevertheless..." Victor said and grabbed her other hand "the other guardians...as well as Ernst and I are very lucky to have you as our soulmate" Victor said kissing her knuckles

This made Rui blush slightly "what's with this all of a sudden" Rui said rather flustered as the other guardians arrived to greet them

"Why were you kissing her hand" Francis asked "she's amazing having such a strong impact on us we should feel lucky to have her as a soulmate" Victor said

"We are lucky..." Ernst said heuye snickers "you should see Rui as a kid she's rather adorable" heuye said as Rui gasps

"I thought we agreed never to speak about that night again...get back here" Rui said chasing after heuye who was currently running away from Rui's wrath

The other guardians laughed at this scene as Rui kept chasing heuye trying to get him to stop talking about that night that she had transformed into a kid as violet chuckled watching from afar...
