8:13pm.
Geovanni sat in her home in Monaco watching her 3 year old son Astro fight his sleep. She smiled and chuckled to herself as he fought so hard to stay up long enough for Charles to get here to tuck him in. Geovanni looked at the clock and sighed, 17 more minutes before Astros bedtime and she wondered if Charles would be too late. As if he could hear her thoughts a knock came to the door and Astro jumped up from the ground and ran straight for the door and Geovanni walked behind him shaking her head at his excitement, she opened the door and there stood Charles dressed in sweatpants and a hoodie with a big grin on his face seeing Astro standing there clapping his hands happily and he embraced him immediately and spun him around in the air. Geovanni shut the door leaning against it with her arms crossed watching the two with a small smile, after Charles set Astro down he looked at Geovanni with a smile. He stood up and walked over to her standing directly where she rested against the door and he looked at her with a mischievous smile and she shook her head at him and he ch liked giving her a kiss on her cheek that was more of her jaw. Her eyes closed for a moment as he kept his lips there, he did it to tease her something he enjoyed doing. As he backed away she quickly opened her eyes and glared at him and he only chuckled, grabbing her hand and picking up Astros with his free arm and walking all of them to Astros room. Astro ran to his bed the second Charles put him down and Charles smiled at him. Geovanni took one side of his bed and Charles the other and both sat down at his side. Charles stroked his hair softly away from his eyes and Geovanni held his hand slowly rubbing it, Astro smiled at the two. He always caught his sleep for a while to just take in the moment and both Geovanni and Charles always noticed that.

"Vai a dormire, tesoro."(Go to sleep baby) Geovanni spoke softly as she looked at Astro who would shut his eyes and quickly open them back up.

"Écoute ta mère."(Listen to your mother) Charles said softly and a bit sternly. Astro smiled and nodded. It was normal for both of them to speak to him in different languages to help him embrace both cultures. Astro understood and could respond in Spanish, English, French and Italian.Charles kissed his forehead and then stood up, Geovanni kissed his forehead and stood up walking next to Charles. Charles put his hand on her lower back leading them to the door before both blowing kisses to Astro and turning off the lights and shutting the door. Charles watched as Geovanni stood in front of him in the hallway as he leaned on Astros door with a big smirk on his face.

"Wipe that stupid smirk off your face Charles." He chuckled and walked slowly towards her.

"And if I don't? Is there something you'd do to me." He kept the smirk evident on his face and Geovanni sarcastically smiled. She put her hands on his chest.

"I would kick you in the balls and then drag you out of the house." He chuckled and then kissed her cheek.

"Let's not do that, I need them to work for when we have children in the future." It was her turn to laugh now and she patted his chest before walking away.

"Oh in your dreams. You're not getting this any day of your life." Charles shook his head as he bit his lip watching her walk away. He'd be determined to show her he would be the one for her in the future. Even if they had some small rivalry they cared for each other deeply, hell he's practically the father to her son. He followed shortly after and walked into the kitchen where she pulled out glasses and wine. She waved the glasses in the air and he nodded, he walked and opened the bottle for them and she held the glasses in front of him for him to pour wine into. Charles set the bottle down and both held their glasses up, he smiled as he stood directly in front of her.

"To us and our complicated little family." Geovanni smiled softly holding her glass up as well.

"To us and our complicated little family." Both smiled and clinked their cups together, and as they were about to take a sip from their drinks Geovanni's phone rang and she sighed setting her glass down and Charles set his down to wait for her. She pulled her phone out of her pocket and saw it was her mother calling her. It was strange for her to call at this time, but considering Monaco and Italy were in the same time zone she answered thinking nothing of it.
