Every step that Geovanni took as she approached the front door of her childhood home everything came flooding back. It was like it had been a long time ago when Charles came with her the day after finding out about her brother, except this time she was coming back with her son. Astro had very little memory of his uncle Thomas, and to Geovanni she figured that was better. It spared him from the pain of not having him here anymore brought. When they stood in front of the door she froze, her hand couldn't go up to ring the doorbell and Charles watched her and he himself rang the doorbell.

"Breath Geovanni. I'll be right here the whole time." Geovanni nodded and cleared her throat, as she took a. deep breath and smiled at him.

"I'm fine." She said through a smile and neither convinced Charles that she was truly fine. Astro was fast asleep in Charles arms oblivious to now being at his grandparents home in Italy. The door was opened moments after and there stood Aston, it was just like it had been a year ago. He looked at the both of them, clearly confused as to why Charles was here with her after all that occurred between them.

"Pa, there's a lot to explain but for now he just came along." He nodded slowly as he looked at her and opened the door further for them to step into the home.

"You can set Astro onto the couch with a blanket and there's food in the dining room waiting. I'll ask your mother to set another dish." He shut the door and Charles walked through the foyer to the living room and carefully laid Astro down on the couch and placed a blanket nearby on him and kissed his forehead as he got comfortable. He walked back towards the dinning room and Aurora smile softly seeing him there and she greeted him with a hug. Marc came into the room with a dish of pasta in his hand completely oblivious to Charles being in the room.

"Who's the other plate for?" He looked up and saw Charles parting from his mother's embrace and Marc's face quickly changed to anger and he set the dish down and charged up to him. "Why the hell are you here? You've got some nerve-"Aston quickly pulled him back away from Charles.

"Calm down Marc. We aren't owed an explanation as to why he's here with your sister, that's between them. So calm down before you wake up your nephew, understood?" Marc would take his gaze away from Charles and he nodded slowly and then took a seat across from his sister and had direct view of Charles who sat next to her. Geovanni looked over at Charles and she put her hand on his shoulder.

"Sorry, my brothers didn't take what happened easy so he's not going to be the kindest for most of this." Charles shook his head.

"No need to apologize, I understand. I'd do it for my brothers if someone ever hurt them like I did to you." He admitted and Geovanni sighed.

"Let's not focus on that right now, yeah?" He sighed looking at her.

"Alright, but I don't want to leave it like it never happened. I owe you an explanation, and i know words will never make it okay but I just want us to be okay." He whispered. She looked at him and then away at her plate of food and nodded.

"The time will come to talk about it all, for now we're fine. For Astros sake and my own." He hated those words, but he wouldn't push further because he knew she'd just shut him out. They all ate and it was a silent dinner, Marc glaring at Charles and Aurora and Aston just taking in the moment knowing what everyone was here for. After their dinner Aurora showed them to the room they'd be staying in which was just Geovanni's childhood room that was fixed up a bit for them to stay in. Charles carried in their luggage and set it into the closet and looked at Geovanni looking around her room.

"It's literally the same as it was from when you were younger." He smiled softly looking at her and she nodded then looked over at him.

"Mama kept everything as it was. It's nice but oddly weird at the same time to see life before everything. When.."She trailed off as she stared at her picture wall.
