Y/n who is a (f/a) has been in the cult for a while now and Lambert has had a secret crush on them for a while now but he wasn't the only one who had eyes for y/n
One of y/n's jobs in the covenant is a Gardner and Narinder had secret eyes for y/n but was really shy about it so he didn't speak out about his crush and neither did lambert until one day it all came crashing down....

After a while of being silent narinder and Lambert finally decided to share their feelings with y/n the both got some flowers and went to y/n's shack to confess but it came as a surprise to them when they both showed up, narinder was surprised to see lambert and Lambert was surprised to see narinder (they both dislike each other)

Lambert: *awkward tone* heeey narinder...

Narinder: *also in an awkward tone* hey lamb..so what exactly are you doing here?

Lambert: her to confess to my dearest follower/crush/love of my life! ☺️❤️❤️❤️

Narinder's expression went from awkward to a silent rage

Narinder: *sarcastic laughter* funny but I am here to confess to y/n not you...

Lambert's expression shifted from calm to anger but he kept it civil and thought "surely this dumbfounded bastard wasn't trying to steal his follower/possibly future spouse

Lambert: HA! You're funny narinder but I'm going to confess to them..

Narinder: no I'm going to confess to them!

Lambert: no I am!!

They started to have a huge brawl in front of y/n's shack but their attitudes and actions quickly when y/n walked outside to see what all the commotion was about

Y/n: Lambert? Narinder?, what was all the racket out here...and why do you guys look so beat up?...

Lambert: crusade!

Narinder: bird attack!

Lambert and Narinder: ...

Y/n: ...was it a crusade or a bird attack I'm confused..

Lambert: u-umm well you see me and...narinder were out in a crusade and we're just hanging out talking when all of a sudden..eehh...ummm..

Narinder: a monster!, a bird monster came out of nowhere and...and swiped at our heads viciously!! Ohh it was bad...

Lambert: *chuckles nervously* y-yea we barely escaped...

Y/n looked at narinder and Lambert with a suspicious expression

Y/n: well ok if that's what happened, so why are you both here?

Narinder: well y/n I came here to tell you that I-

Lambert cut narinder off

Lambert: that he needs help with the crops!

Narinder looked at Lambert with a frustrated but furious raging expression

Y/n: oh he needs help with the crops? Well ok I'm happy to help but why are you here Lambert?

Lambert secretly looked at narinder with a smirked expression which made narinder's blood boil in rage
