When the Rain Is Heavy

I feel the sun doesn't rise without you
I feel the rain falls harder when I'm not with you
I feel the lightning strikes louder when you're Gone
But I'm not scared when I'm alone because
I know you're waiting for me every time
I know I'll always come home to you and you Alone
I know you will only hug me tighter when we are Together again
And I love you for it
I love your soft touch when the rain is heavy
I love your gentle voice when the lightning strikes
I love the warmth you give off even when the sun Is gone
You are a magnificent light in my life and when You are gone I just see darkness
But I have hope I'll see your shining light again No matter the circumstance
You are more beautiful than any rainbow
Or any sunset or any wave crashing down
You are more lovely than the bird's song
Or the sunrise between the mountains
Or fresh snowfall
You are more kind than a stranger
Helping another stranger
You exude a joy I haven't seen even in a child at a Firework show
And I hope you know I love you so
