Chapter Five

Scene 1: School's over and Afton and Louis are walking through the parking lot to meet up with Harry and Zayn.

LOUIS: (suffering a headache, pulls out phone) "I feel like I'm suffering from withdrawal."

AFTON: (rubbing his back) "Don't worry love, it'll get better."

They turn the corner and head outside. Louis' looking at something in the distance while Afton leads them Zayn's car.

HARRY: (irritated) "Took you long enough."

ZAYN: (wraps his arms around him, nuzzles into the back of his neck) "Calm down Harold."

HARRY: (pushes him away, fans himself) "Get off me, eh, I feel gross."

AFTON: (jovial, whispers to Louis) "Maybe he is pregnant."

LOUIS: (chuckles, hasn't looked up from his phone) "Funny," (puts away phone and spots the couple, shocked, whispers) "shit."

ZAYN: (shocked as well, not letting it show) "Ms. Neil, lovely to see you again."

AFTON: (cheeky) "Yeah, nice to see you not attached to Harry's face."

HARRY: "You act like we're always kissing," (dismissive) "whatever, anyway, Zayn this is Louis, Louis this is Zayn, my boyfriend," (glares at Afton) "but I'm sure you already knew all of that."

LOUIS: (staring at Zayn) "Umm.."

ZAYN: (takes Louis' hand, kisses his own knuckles) "Mr. Tomlinson."

HARRY: (entertained) "Come on love birds, we don't have all the time in the world," (sinks into the front passenger seat) "I need food from Jenny's."

LOUIS: (looks over the crowd that has joined by the school building, possibly to stare at Zayn's Bentley) "Well then.."

AFTON: (happy) "Jenny's is the best," (guiding Louis into the back) "you'll love it I swear."

They all get in and before Louis knows it they're pulling into a parking lot and Afton is racing Harry to the doors. Louis tries to get out with the same urgency but Zayn locks the doors.

ZAYN: (looks with mirth into the rear view mirror) "Imagine."

LOUIS: (swallows thickly, frightened) "Imagine what?"

ZAYN: (chuckles and shakes his head, disbelieving) "You know damn well what," (unlocks the doors) "unbelievable."

When they get out the car and into Jenny's Sandwich House Harry and Afton are at a table arguing about what to buy Louis. Jenny's there too laughing at them as she waits to take their order. Zayn slips in beside Harry and draws him close. He doesn't notice, he just keeps arguing with Afton and Louis slumps in beside the red head.

JENNY: (amused) "Well, we're going to be here a while."

HARRY: (only sees Afton) "We aren't getting those, you duff."

AFTON: (angry) "Don't call me that you little shit!"

ZAYN: (ignores them) "Jenica, this is Harry's cousin, Louis," (looks at Louis) "Louis, this is Jenica, she makes the best sandwiches."

JENNY: (ignores them too, turns to Louis) "Lovely to meet you honey."

Louis smiled at her and shook her hand, seemingly forgetting about Zayn, and what he knew about him. Well who he knew, was connected to him.

Scene 2: After an interesting two hours at Jenny's, Zayn took everybody back to Harry's promising a night out on the town next weekend.

ZAYN: (whispers to Harry) "Come talk to me outside, a second?"

AFTON: "Somebody's gonna play kissy face outside." (makes weird kissing sounds)

HARRY: (glares at her, turns to Zayn) "Okay, cool," (they go outside) "what is it babe?"

ZAYN: "Babe, why exactly is he here?"

HARRY: (confused) "What do you mean?"

ZAYN: (irritated) "Louis. Why is he here? Why isn't he with his family."

HARRY: (getting irritated Zayn is even asking) "The fuck am I suppose to know? Why are you even asking, huh?"

ZAYN: "Nevermind," (mad, thinks) "Let me leave before I do something I'll regret." (starts to walk away)

HARRY: (shocked) "Zayn? Where are you going? Zayn? Zayn!?"

Scene 3: A look at how Liam is doing. Upset and irritated, he's calling up his cousin.

LIAM: (phone is ringing, mumbles to the cell) "Fucking pick up," (tons of shuffling, a voice mutters hello) "Zayn!"
