Once we reached back to Kyree's condo after an uncomfortable dinner i knew he wanted an explanation i didnt expect my aunt Lisa to be there i honestly didnt expect for her ass to speak but i knew i owed him that. He was really quiet most of the dinner but here i was stalling inside the bathroom attached to pres room he deemed his at the condo.

" good night mommy" Pres mumbled as he laid under the blue ralph lauren bed set that had blue horses printed around on the blanket

" Good night baby" I told him kissing his forehead I turned his light off and headed out the room where kyree was waiting for me in the living room.

I sat down next to him sighed before I started my story " my parents met while my father was in the military he was black man in a foreign country they met one night at a Korean night club it was a one night stand and they both went their own ways after shortly after my mother found out she was pregnant and had no way of finding my father they never exchanged numbers so when she told her parents they were upset but forced her to marry this Korean business man it was an arrangement he knew she was pregnant and needed a wife everything worked out.

I was raised in Korea until my father gotten a better job offer and packed us up and moved us here I was about five maybe six my mother ended up running into my real father she told him about me he didn't want anything to do with me and I was fine with the dad I had already everything was good until I got pregnant my Korean dad was okay with me having black friends but getting pregnant by a black man was a no no they wanted me to get rid of him and go away to a college in cali and I refused so they cut me off out their lives I haven't seen them in six years last I heard they moved" i told him as he shook his head

"My father killed my mother in cold blood I knew even at a young age that we were having financial problems and I still don't know why he did it I lost two parents in one day I question all the time was it worth it you know sometimes parents could be shitty we have shitty parents" kyree said making me smile a little.

"That's why I strive to be a great parent no matter what be everything this little boy needs make sure he wants for nothing guide him to make great choices" I told him as he smiled pulling me to him

" your a great person inside and out kori that's why I love you" he told me making me gasp in shock that was the first time he told me that I was speechless.

2 Months Later

The charges were dropped against Kyree and Courtney was still M.I.A but best believe Kyree still had mother fuckers looking for him. Nobody will ever sneak him and live to see another day.

Everything was going good between him and kori and she was showing him day by day why he was gonna marry her she had all the great qualities of a wife. After much convincing he packed kori and Preston up and moved them in his condo it really made no sense for them to live in separate apartments when they been spending more time at his place.

  Kori felt as if she was sitting on top of the world she was in a healthy relationship with only being together for a few months she knew she was in love with him. She loved everything about him he was gentle and loving and real. She appreciated him stepping up for her son so she didn't mind doing the bare minimum is what u felt it was.

  " hey girl I'm out for the night" Kira said to kori as she wiped the rest of her station down with Clorox wipes.

" okay boo I see you Friday kiss that baby for me" Kori said to her as she came out her office to lock up behind kira leaving her alone in her shop.

  Things changed in the matter of two months when she first interviewed Kira she was a little skeptical of the loud female but after seeing her work she was hired on the spot and doing an amazing job.
