  They had been best friends since grade school always together thick as thieves you rarely seen one without the other both being only children in their parents lives caused the immediate attachment. The girls had nothing really in common but they mashed together so well while desire was the out spoken one that didn't take no shit  Kori was the mean quiet one the hotheaded one .

  "I know dee" Kori mumbled tired of being told the same thing over in over it wasn't that she didn't want to leave Court alone he was her first everything so she had a soft spot for him and he knew that but she knew she had to stop allowing him to play in her face.

" Do you really look at yourself Kori look what he allowed them bitches to do to your face you don't know how mad I was when I got that call" Desire stress feeling herself get mad all over again she was leaving her 12 hour shift at the hospital when she got that call from her cousin Zaire that Kori got jump. "and best believe when I catch one of them bitches it's onsite" she pressed making kori smiled a little because she knew the only person that's ready to go would be Desire but kori also knew her friend was hurt.

"I'm sorry dee" Kori said wiping her eyes flinching from the swelling on her eyes them bitches really fucked her face up she didn't need to look in the mirror to see she seen it on desire face while she was cleaning her wounds.

3 hours prior

  " babe I'm about to run in z shop get cleaned up real quick then we can go" Court said to kori as she just nodded her head a little upset he didn't do all this before he came to pick her up.

  " alright Courtney" she mumbled as they pulled up in front of "rock heads" which was owned by her best friend cousin Zaire.

  "You coming in or nah" courtney asked grabbing his wallet and glasses turning to glance at his girlfriend of two years.

  "Nah I'm gonna wait out here tell z I said hey" kori said as she click on the instagram app on her phone scrolling court got out the car in entered the shop.

" yooo" he greeted everyone in the shop z had one of those barbershops where all was welcome and it had a good chill vibe to it so everyone hung out there.

  " wassup my boy" Zaire greeted court as he sat down on his styling chair.

  " ain't shit got shawty in the car so you know how that go" court said Zaire nodded smiling he liked them together that matched each other while kori was sweet and quiet court was loud with personality sometimes opposites attract.

   "Word that's wassup" Zaire said as he started the shape up process on court hair

kori was scrolling down her timeline bored she knew it was too good to be true when it came to court he had bad time management skills if he said get ready by 1pm best believe he would be there by 3pm, If he said just like today get dress I made reservations she already knew it was gonna be a stop somewhere on the way there.
