Aquatic Tears

Chapter 8. Home?

     "I win!" Koricha yells wiping sweat off his face. "Fuck you." Lenyk replies angered. "It's already getting late, alright boys wrap it up let's get some shut eye." Misaki tells them, they all go into their separate tents and go to sleep. In the morning. "Koricha, where are you going?" Kuroka asks. "To get food, we need to eat somehow." Koricha replies. "Wanna come with?" He asks her. "No." She replies.

     "Sweet ocean! Time to get fish!" Koricha yells as he begins to fish, but suddenly... "What's this?" Koricha asks as he notices a bottle with a note in it. "Weird" Koricha tells himself, but suddenly he gets a big headache, he gets struck to the floor due to how much pain it gave him. "What is happening?!" Koricha yells as he tries to get his footing. "There's something wrong!" Koricha yells as he runs to the camp. When he gets there he notices the group fending off some wild animals. "Koricha! You're here!" Rithra yells with hope. "I knew it!" Koricha yells as he stabs one of the animals, a bear is drawn to the camp.

     "You all hide, I can take em!" Koricha yells as he grabs his spear and begins to kill the wild animals one by one, but when he reaches the bear it bites him in the shoulder. "Damn bastards!" Koricha tells himself as he stabs the bear, unfortunately more animals are drawn to all the noise. "Are you fucking kidding me!?" Koricha yells. He tries to fend them off but is only able to kill one due to his wounds. "The spear broke!" Koricha yells as he backs up holding his fists up.

     "ARE YOU STUPID KORICHA?!" Lenyk yells. "You'll die!" Misaki yells aswell trying to get Koricha to run. "It's not over yet!" Koricha yells as he grabs another spear and begins to kill them. One of the animals slash at his eye making it blind. "Son of a bitch." Koricha tells himself. Still fighting with all the wounds, the battle seemed hopless for the other four but not for Koricha. "Is that the last of them?" Koricha asks holding up his tattered spear. "Koricha!" Misaki yells as she runs to make sure he's okay, as he turned they all see what he lost and all the blood on his face. They were shocked that he could do this much with all of those injuries. "I'm fine Misaki, just injured." He replies holding up his arm with all the bites and blood. "And I'll need a shower." He tells them as he wipes the blood off his face, yet the eye was a different problem.

     "Your right eye is gone Koricha, you can't keep risking yourself for us." Misaki tells him as she wraps bandages around his arm. "You were a complete idiot." Lenyk tells him flicking Korichas bangs to the side. "What if you lost your left eye? What would you do then?" Lenyk asks. "Give him a break, he's gone through enough." Rithra tells Lenyk. "Was that gamble really your choice? You felt it didn't you." Kuroka tells Koricha. "You sensed us in danger, that's why you came." Kuroka explains. "Yeah, I had a headache, it seemed like it was telling me something." Koricha explains. "You helped us but at the price of your eye, you should've handed me a weapon. I would've helped." Kuroka tells him. "No way, you'd be mauled to death by one of the bears." He replies. "Like hell I would." She replies. "Atleast he didn't die Lenyk." Misaki tells him. "Oh please! Who's saying he won't drop dead now?" He replies. Rithra slaps him in the face. "Enough." She tells him.

     A ringing in everyone's head begins to play, leaving them all with the same headache that Koricha had. "Not again!" Koricha yells as he goes outside the tent, but what was outside left shock in everyone. "How..." Misaki asks "What the hell?!" Lenyk yells "..." Rithra ans Kuroka remain quiet still confused on what was in front of them.
