I wake up to the blinding light of the sun. Vampires are looking at me, and before I know it I am owned by a kid who looks to be 12 years old. I hate my life.

Albert takes me out of the cage, and my new owner puts a purple sparkly collar loosely on my neck. My new owner's mother attaches a leash that matches the collar, and hands the end of the leash to the boy.

"Hi I'm Nick, and I'm your new owner!"Nick squeals, and opens the door as we walk out of the shop. He tugs at the leash as we walk, and his mother talks on her blue tooth.

We walk for 20 minutes until we get to a pretty large house, not a mansion, but a large house.

We walk into the front door, and it is beautiful. The house has 3 floors and a basement. The walls are grey, and there are lights everywhere. It has quite some style for a vampire. I hope I am not abused here, either way I'm going to get out.

The boy tugs me up a flight of stairs, and into a boy themed room. It has Cowboys everywhere. It is quite roomy, and I see a small bed in the corner of the room which I am guessing is mine.

Nick takes off my leash, and pushes me forward. Gravity gets the best of me, and I fall onto the floor.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean for you to fall. This is my room, and you can sleep on that bed. If I want to cuddle though you have to."Nick says, before gesturing me to sit on his bed.

"I'm going to lay down the rules, okay?"Nick asks, and I nod my head.

"I am your owner now, and you are to call me master. You may not speak at all. If you do, then I'll get you in trouble. I guess you can speak if spoken to though. You may play with anything in my room, and can only be in here. The bathroom is over to the right. You must obey me, or else."Nick says, and I simply nod. He may look young, but he is probably older then I think he is because he is a vampire.

Why would he choose me? I am 17, I think, and I am way out of his league. Just kidding. Vampires don't fall for humans, and vise versa. We are simply enemies.

"So how many homes have you been in?"Nick asks. Should I answer, or shouldn't I? These rules are so confusing.

"You can speak."Nick says after a minute of silence. Not all vampires can read minds, but some can.

"I'm not sure."I say quietly, not wanting to be slapped for not knowing. I flinch when he brings his hand up, and he notices.

"I'm not going to hit you, I just want to look into your eyes."Nick says before raising my chin with his hand. I don't look in his eyes, and he is clearly angered by this. He uses his other hand to push my forehead, and tries to get me to look at him, but I refuse once again.

"I told you to obey me, and for that you can go to bed without dinner."Nick says before getting up, and walking out of the room. As he walks out the door he uses a key, and locks it. Look at my luck.

I get up off of his bed, and look at a clock hanging on the wall. It says 8:00 p.m. I walk around the room. I see paintings signed by Nick, and he is a really good artist. I look in his closet, and it is pretty big. It is a walk-in closet, so I walk in. The door closes behind me, and I am suddenly trapped.

I start to panic, what if I get in trouble? How was I supposed to know it would lock me in? I start looking for a light, but I don't find it. I'm locked in a closet. In a vampire's room. Who knows what could be in here?

"Help!"I yell, and start crying. I suddenly feel a hot breath on my neck. Oh crap.

Hands grab my waist, and I spin around. My face bumps into a chest, and suddenly the mysterious stranger puts his head on the crook of my neck. I am about to scream when he puts his hand over my mouth.

"This will only hurt a bit."the male vampire says. He starts kissing my neck, and then I feel a sharp sting in my neck. The sharp pain turns slowly into pleasure.

I wrap my fingers in his hair, and moan. I'm not trying to do anything, but my body moves on its own. I start to sense my surroundings after a minute or so, and try to push him away.

He doesn't budge, and I start to feel weak. I am about to fall when he pulls his fangs out. I drop onto the floor, and the vampire who almost drained my blood completely opens the door and walks out. A few minutes later, Nick walks in his room, and calls for me, but I don't move.

I don't know what just happened, but I know it's not good.
