Vampire's Pet

Chapter 6

Cameron P.O.V.

I woke up to someone shaking my shoulder, murmuring wake up.

"I'm awake."I say before slowly fluttering my eyes open to reveal Nick smiling.

"Why are you so happy?"I grumble, I mean come on, I'm about to die soon. Show some respect!

"I thought if I was happy, it would make you happier."He says with a hal-hearted smile.

"I'm going to die Nick, I hate you, and all vampires, so just leave me alone."I say on the verge of tears. I scoot closer to the window, and close my eyes.

"We are here, Cameron."Nick says, before reaching for my hand. He gently pulls me out of the car, and we slowly walk towards a huge castle.

"Hurry up, we need to get rid of this thing, I don't know how much longer I can stand it and its' attitude."Nick's mother sighs, and continues walking a bit quicker.

I walk next to Nick, and Nick gives me an apologetic look as we approach the entrance.

"This is my brother's castle."Nick said, and I just nod. What am I supposed to say, thank you for taking me to the place where I am going to die? No, heck no.

"We are going to drop you off here, one of his servants will escort you inside. Tell your new master that we had to leave early to make it to another appointment. Be good, for however long you are alive."Nick's mother says then smiles, before walking to the car.

"I'm sorry to see you go, I might be able to see you again, if you don't, well, you know."Nick gives an apologetic smile, before hugging me and walking back to the car.

There are gates around the castle, and a servant who looks as if she is 40, takes my arm lightly, and we walk into the gates that close behind us.

Well there goes my escape plan, that would probably fail, and result in my demise. Either way...

"Follow me. I'll take you through the garden to get to the master. He will probably be out on his late night stroll."The older lady says, as she releases my arm and smiles.

I already hate this place, and all of it's weird nice people. They disgust me.

We continue walking, and our nearing the house, but I ain't giving up without a fight.

I quickly turn around and sprint in the other direction. I make it about twenty steps before I face plant into what I believe is a wall.

I fall on my butt, and may I just say...OW!

"Ah, so you are the former pet of Nick."The wall says(apparently not a wall, but a man. I don't look up just look to the side.

"Look at me pet."The familiar sounding vampire man says. I being the defiant person I am, don't look at him. Take that you vampire scum.

"I am not vampire scum, and if you don't want to get into more trouble then you are already in, I would look up."The vampire man-wall says.

I slowly look up only to be met with the familiar eyes of the guy who caught me on the streets, what was his name again?

"It's Riley, and you are the runaway from the pet shop, Cameron."Riley says with a smirk.

"I wouldn't have to run away, if I wasn't locked up like a wild animal."I hiss. He just tsks, and shakes his head.

"The wild animal you are, you just ran away again. I am happy to have you as a pet though. I was going to get you the day after I caught you, but things came up, and my little brother Nick did. Now I have you little pet, come with me."Riley says and holds out his hands, but I just glare at him, and stand up ok my own.

He grabs my hand so I can't runaway, because I didn't have a leash on. His hand shot sparks up my arm, and I was happy. I guess he is kinda hot, and he seems nice. Maybe this whole situation would work out.

"Glad to know you think of me so highly. I knew u was hot, but thanks for confirming it."Riley says, and smirks at me. Those darn vampire mind reading powers. I curse the day he was born with it.

We walked for about five minutes, hand in hand, before we finally reached the front entrance, surrounded by a moat. How will I ever escape?

"You won't."Riley says and smirks. I roll my eyes, and we all inside the castle.

It was large, and had servants walking around, and was modern looking despite the outside.

When we walked in we entered the front room, with two large stair cases going upstairs, and a hallway through the middle that goes to a living room and kitchen.

The walls were grey or white, with an accent of red. Stupid vampires and their weird style taste.

The red probably reminded them of the color of blood, yuck.

"Follow me, I'll show you to our room, but don't worry, you have your own bed."Riley says and smiles, before walking up the staircase on the right, and after a minute of long hallways(more like a maze), we make it to his/our room.

It is actually quite nice, with a large four post queen sized bed, with a smaller twin sized bed next to it.

The sheets are black, with a red comforter, and a chandelier hangs in the corner of the room.

There are two doors, one that is a bathroom, and the other is a closet.

I walk into the large spacious closet, that could be a room of its own. It has lots of casual guys clothes, and some tuxes. There were some girls clothes that I was guessing we're for me, which were causal but cute.

I walked out of the closet, and checked out the bathroom, which was huge. It had a single vanity, and a shower. It was pretty basic, but everything was on a larger scale.

I walked back out of the bathroom, and onto my bed. I curled up, and murmured a goodnight to Riley before I slowly drifted off to sleep.
