Meeting my CEO

chapter 1

I was sitting on the couch of my spacious room lost in my own

world...again. I tried like I always do, to feed on memories...good,
sweet memories. My best friend Caleb, I miss him. All our

hangouts, our parties, how he teased me about my stubborn hair.
How I missed all those times. I tried and tried all the time to

relive the memories, to forget the hurt that was constant in my

soul. I wanted to forget it all but at the same time I didn't. The

sweet agony. I love him, I really do love him.

"Lola! Lola!" He called again. I snapped suddenly out of my

trance and struggled to my feet. "Yes Kyle" I said as I hurried out

to him. My handsome, tall, muscular dream guy. I mean that's

what I've always wanted right? My world, my lawfully wedded

husband who became my nightmare overnight was back. "Baby

freshen up and get dressed we are going for my new

organization party". "New organization? What is that about?" I

asked. "Oh.. I didn't tell you" he mumbled "I'm sorry, its a

partnership my company is making with Royale Firm to form a

new organization, now just quickly go get ready we don't want to
be late now do we?" He said all in one breath. I knew better than to
argue, just to obey the orders...as usual. My dream guy and life

only existed in my thoughts.
