CHAPTER 7

"I'm here to see my wife" Kyle said clearly angered while Caleb was

burning holes into Kyle's head trying very hard to control his temper

like I begged him to. "Lola, we need to go home now" Kyle said in his

dreadfully low voice. I know that voice.. It means he is really

angry, I was scared but I didn't want to show it,

not after what he had put me through, he killed my baby.

"No!" I said coldly "I'm not going anywhere with you". "Please

Lola we can talk about this, i..." "... she said she doesn't want to

talk to you, now get out" Caleb cut him short "She's my wife" Kyle

yelled "that's the point, she's your wife not your punching bag"

Caleb answered clearly very angered. Kyle didn't say anything

further, he just looked at me with sorry eyes whilst retreating

but i resolved not to fall for those eyes again.

"Lola i spoke to my friend Mr Raymond, he's offered you an

interview for the position of his P.A, i hope you don't mind that,

you know i would have totally giving you a higher position in my
company" Caleb said winking at me "i know Caleb but i like

normal, this is normal" i said laughing. "So when is the

interview?" I asked "tomorrow morning 8am prompt, he hates

tardiness, don't be late" Caleb replied "alright won't be thanks! Just
email me the address, what did you say the name of the

company was again?" I asked "i didn't say" Caleb laughed

"anyway the name is Dray enterprises" he replied. "I hope he's

charming" i said sighing. So for the rest of the day Caleb agreed

to take me out to shop for office clothes and i must say, i got

some really badass wears, it was formal but my curves took

formal to a whole new level. I loved how it looked on me, i mean
i never doubted that i was a gorgeous woman but it was really

beautiful on me, I'm about to kick some ass tomorrow, at least i

looked it.

The next morning, i woke up by 6am and got ready, I put on an

armless peach chiffon collared top, i love peach so i own a lot of

those, i matched it with grey high waist trouser that really

brought out my body outline, i wore black stiletto heels. As for

my hair, i packed it in a tight bun so as to look smart, i applied

some eyeliner, mascara and nude lipstick, i carried my black tote
bag and was set to go. Boy did i look Bam! Caleb had already

emailed me the address so i knew the place. I was ready to go, i

saw caleb downstairs having breakfast "wow Lola you look

amazing, kill it at work" he exclaimed "it's just an interview

Caleb, but thanks" i laughed. I just ate a toast and drank some tea
and headed out "bye Caleb" i called "break a leg" he answered. I

got into my SUV and sped off, i arrived there a little bit ahead of

time. I entered the building and met the receptionist who

greeted me with a warm smile. " I'm here to see Mr Raymond" i

said, "do you have an appointment?" She asked "yes, I'm

scheduled for an 8am interview with him" i replied "name

please" she asked "Lola Reynolds" i replied deciding not to use

Kyle's name which was Williams, besides this was the name

Caleb gave him "alright hold on while i communicate with him"

after confirmation, she directed me to Mr Raymond's office.

Getting there i was a little bit nervous, i knocked on his door and

a "come in" was heard. I stepped into the office, it was a

beautiful and well organised place and what was even more

beautiful was the man sitting behind the desk.
