When Obanai doesn't feel like taking care of Kaburamaru, he let's Sanemi take care of Kaburamaru. He purposely did this because he knows Sanemi HATES Kaburamaru but Kaburamaru likes Sanemi. Obanai also knows that Kaburamaru has a weird tendency to try and eat Sanemi's haori.
