The fact that maybe Choi Soobin's every fantasy was coming live, still didn't settle well in him. In fact, it was troublesome and at times suffocating.

If someone looked at him from afar, they would see no changes in Soobin's life. He still stole glances at his senior, he still touched the walls wishing they were touched by Yeonjun once, he still took the longer route to his class.

So what did change?

"Are you done with your work?"

The voiced startled him to death. He looked up from his text book only to see Choi Yeonjun towering over him, bag slung loosely on one shoulder and hands in pocket.

He could see his friends' eyes widening with shock from his peripheral view. Those gaping faces as they stare at the said boy.

"N-not yet." Soobin spurted out.

Yeonjun nods slightly, taking a step back.

"Let me know before you go home." And he leaves.

So what was Soobin supposed to do with all the blood that rushed to his face and irregular hearybeat with dysfunctional mind?

"Ahem.." The cough made Soobin aware that he had his friends staring down at him like predators. He smiled sheepishly.

So that has changed. Now whenever Soobin looked at Yeonjun in the cafeteria, the elder would look back at him. Whenever he would take the longer route, he would have Yeonjun eyeing him before he could find him.

This had made all the stalking really hard.

One could say that Soobin's dream life was coming true, but he wouldn't think so himself. Rather it was suffocating now.

Like he said before, his little world would be fine only until it was his own. That world where he would form stories and play scenarios, that world where he worshipped Choi Yeonjun. It was fine only until he was the only one in it.

But now the other lead protagonist was making his way into his world and messing it all up!

Now Soobin feared dreaming of anything, because it felt too real. It felt like it could actually happen. His hopes were getting high and his body reacted to it differently and Soobin so doesn't wanna go down that path.

His whole reputation in his eyes was falling. He was fine until now because he knew he had no chance with Choi Yeonjun and he was okay with that fact! He never let that get in his way!

But now, all those small talks, all those eye contacts, those smiles, those personal moments where only the two of them shared memory. All of this was making him weak, making him believe that it can happen and that wasn't good!

"Binnie.. can I ask you something?" Jisu approached as they walked home on an evening. Soobin nodded casually.

"I saw you and Yeonjun oppa talking the other day.." Soobin felt uneasy, an itchy feeling on the throat.

"Hmm.. we talked a bit." He somehow managed to say, but for the lack of response Soobin's worry grew.

"Why? Do you not like it?" He asked. But to his relief, Jisu was quick to shake her head in disagreement.

"I Just.. " She paused, like choosing the right words. "How can I make him talk to me too?"

Something in Soobin pounced with pain at her words. She looked lost and desperate.

What a cruel fate it was for her to ask a stranger for her own brother. At times like this, Soobin didn't like his introverted personality, he had no idea how to cheer her up. What words to say that would reach her? And so they walked in quite for a while.
