AIDEN JACKSON

AIDEN JACKSON pulled his shirt on in a sigh, barely glancing as he reddened skin. When he'd gotten home last night, after a long reflective walk, he'd found his mother at a friend's and his father home alone, drunk. The glass from the bottle had been a pain to pull out of his skin, but he'd managed fairly well, thanks to the experience, but although he was getting used to wounds and scars, he still didn't much like the sight of them.

He took his phone out and texted Robert to say he wouldn't come to the training tonight, but realised then that it was canceled anyway. Something with a special aqua gym class taking part tonight.

He sighed and went in the living room where his mom was talking to his cousin Finn, who was staying the night. Finn was a literal daemon, and he and Aiden had never gotten along, that was the reason why Anna was to babysit tonight, when his parents left for their romantic dinner.

"When's Anna coming?" He asked.

His mother straightened and looked at her husband in worry. That was the 'who tells the bad news this time?' look. Never a good look. "Honey-" she began but the bell cut her off.

Aiden ran to the door and opened it. He enjoyed Anna's company, she was entertaining, and with the amount of time they'd been to each other's places, he'd always seen her as a sister figure. She taught him how to fight, she taught him how to talk back.

Only to find her there. He looked back at his mother. "What the hell is she doing here?"

Frigg rolled her eyes. "Glad to see you too."

He gave her a look, noticing that under her contracted wit, she seemed tense, and he realised that it was probably the first time she was here since the accident.

His mother gave him an apologising smile. "Sorry, honey. I forgot to tell you. Anna had to get home to her fiancée, but Frigg was free to replace her."

"Oh." He let her come in and sat on the couch as Finn presented himself to Frigg.

"Hope it'll be fine," his mother said as she pushed her husband to the door. "Have a good evening kids. We'll be back around midnight. Aiden, do not bring people and I don't want a party of drunken teens when I get home!"

With that, she left him with a monster and a demon. Love you too mom.

Finn, when the door closed, woke his real side up and began jumping around, screaming like hell. "Uh..." Frigg said. "What's happening?"

Aiden gave her an exhausted sight. "What he's been doing the last three hours when adults weren't around."

Under Frigg's concerned stare, Finn grabbed the remote control, and ran upstairs. Aidan found himself wondering what exactly the kid had been eating lately, as Frigg looked at him with uncertainty. "Should I-" she started, but didn't finish her sentence, standing there in silence awkwardly instead.

He wanted to laugh but then he remembered in which room exactly you could use a remote control upstairs. The fucking kid was in his room. The enemy had officially entered the ground.

In a flash, he was in his room; Flash who? When he got there, he found that Finn, the seven years old boy, was sitting on his bed, watching Game Of Thrones without even blinking. Well shit.

"What the hell!" Frigg panted, as she rested on the doorframe, probably exhausted from the run up the stairs. "Why'd you have something like that in your room when a kid's coming?"

"He wasn't supposed to watch it! He wasn't supposed to get in my room in the first place!"

She was about to say something when the door opened once more. "What's happening here?" Reece asked, followed by Jai whose eyes widened as they took in the scene.

Okay, just invite yourself in. "Uh..." Aiden looked at Frigg for help.

"The idiot let his DVDs out and now Finn's watching Game Of Thrones," she snapped.

Of course she made it sound like it was he was the biggest culprit here! "I told her it wasn't my fault!"

"Question," Reece interrupted their banter, "why is he still watching it?"

Aiden and Frigg shared a horrified look. Jai laughed and had to put a hand on the (pink) wall to stop himself from falling. "You guys are amazing!"

"Who's amazing?" Azalea asked, popping in as well, the twins behind her. Ok, so everybody's just going to invite themselves like that.

"They were so into their fight that they left Finn in front of Game Of Thrones!" Jai informed them.

Azalea snickered. "You should definitely not become parents!" She then sat down next to Finn to watch- Holly shit he was still watching it.

"It's your fault," Frigg whined.

"Hey! I'm not the babysitter, you're supposed to be watching him!"

"Yeah, well it's kinda complicated when yo-"

"WHY IN THE WORLD IS FINN WATCHING THAT POO?" Chloe cut her off, entering with wide eyes. She quickly turned the TV off, and Finn and Azalea protested loudly. Chloe was definitely the most mature of them, and she was the girl wearing a pink tutu with a white T-Shirt that said 'Do you know why a nose can't be twelve inches long? Because then it would be a foot!'

She took Finn's hand. "I'm getting this little guy out of here. Come on Reece." Reece shrugged and followed her. Well the man was whipped.

"So what's Evans doing here?" Azalea asked.

"I'm the babysitter," Frigg sighed.

Jai chuckled. "Who are you babysitting? Aiden or Finn?"

"Both," she answered. "Now, what are you guys doing here? Vanessa said Aiden couldn't bring people here."

Lucas gave her an unimpressed look. "We're here to throw a party. What'd you think?"
