Rinia POV:

I wave farewell to Arthur as he flies off into the orange sunset sky, towards the royal castle.

Now I finally understand why my sister gave her life for Virion. It was for Arthur to be here, now. This only would have happened with Virion's presence.

Now that I understand what abilities Arthur is capable of, the significance of the prophecy is clear. Arthur is going to be near invincible in the future! By the time he is a teenager, he should be able to deal with Alacrya's strongest soldiers easily.

I just feel lucky now. I won't have to spend most of my life force on trying to find an optimal path into the future. Our land's people, won't have to pay with their blood. And Tessia...I am glad she will have Arthur to count on.

Arthur Leywin POV:

As I approach the castle, my gaze wanders to the sunset view.

By common sense, I never bothered looking directly at the sun before. Everyone knows to not do that, to protect their eyesight. But somehow, I know now that my body is more than strong enough, to appreciate the majesty of the sun. The rays of light...feel so comforting, empowering. Like it will charge me up to the point of me not having to eat anymore.

What is the sun anyways? A big ball of light? How far away is it? Can I fly there and take a look someday?

Oh wait, I've reached the castle. It feels a bit unfamiliar, that I am just floating so effortlessly so high up, near the top of the castle. Looking at the city in the distance, everything feels so small. Really shows me how big this world is.

Where is Tess and Gramps?

...

There they are.

3rd Person POV:

As dusk approaches, the members of the Elven royal family are eating together in their private dining room. The King and Queen are mostly done eating, and the previous king Virion Eralith already finished, and is just sitting there, watching his granddaughter. Tessia Eralith, the one and only child of the reigning monarchs, and heir to the throne, is not happy.

The atmosphere is a bit tense, as everyone's attention is on Tessia absentmindedly playing with her food, making slow progress on completing her dinner.

King Eralith decides to speak.

"Father, we should talk about that human boy Arthur."

"What, this again? Like I told you before, he is my disciple!"

"I know, but...he is still a human, grudges from the war with the humans don't fade so easily. I just can't shake off the feeling that one day Arthur will cause a human army to swarm our kingdom..."

"Father! Art would never do such a thing!"

"That's easy for me to conclude as well, daughter, but he is still a child. Who knows what he will turn into in the future! You should not be so emotionally reliant on Arthur! He may be your grandfather's disciple, but at the end of the day, he is just another human mage, from the Human kingdom! You have responsibilities as the future ruler of this country!"

Tessia silently looks down.

"Alduin, Arthur is Tessia's first and only real friend so far, who doesn't treat Tessia as princess, but as a person. Arthur is also a victim of greedy humans, it is remarkable that as a seven-year-old child, he has the strength to not show how much he misses his family." Merial says to her husband.
