Fitzroy POV:

The Moonlark and her accomplice were spotted in Mysterium this morning, Your Highness," My royal guard says, bowing. I'm eating breakfast with my family, but that could certainly wait with the new information the search party has just acquired.

"Send out a search party. I want every single guard to keep their eyes out for her," I order, getting up. "I'm sorry father, but this is urgent." Father waves his hand, giving me permission to deal with the guards.

As I stalk to the meeting room, a voice stops me. "Let me lead the search party."

I stop, turning slowly. "This isn't your job, Biana. You are a spy. You collect information and report back to us. Capturing criminals is not your area of expertise."

"Fitzroy," Biana starts, exasperated. "I can handle myself. Give me a chance to prove it."

I consider this. Biana, my younger sister, is the spymaster for the whole kingdom. She deals with collecting the information that allows us to make important decisions. If I sent her out to capture the Moonlark, she would be able to befriend her much more easily than a normal soldier would. That's why Biana is the spy, the one carrying our family secrets and I'm the prince who sits in the palace all day doing nothing. I'm the face of the kingdom, the one everyone knows. I'm too recognizable. If I were a spy, any mission I went on would fall apart in seconds.

"Alright," I concede. "I suppose you are better for the job. But as soon as you get in trouble, you are coming straight back. Understood?" I can't risk anyone noticing her and end up putting a knife in her heart. I won't let that happen.

Biana rolls her eyes. "Fine. But I get to capture her my way. You don't get to argue with my decisions." Then she walks off to get ready to go to Mysterium.
