Onyx West marched into the dirty building. He frowned. If HYDRA was such a successful group, could they not meet him elsewhere? Somewhere cleaner?

"Hello West, so glad that you could make it," one man in a suit said charmingly. Alexander Pierce. West grinned, showing a row of black teeth, making Pierce cringe slightly. He was becoming used to seeing Onyx's warlock marks and now did not physically recoil at the sight of some of them.

"Pierce, honestly, I thought you all had taste when I first agreed to tell you about the Shadow world, but after that place on Green street and now here... well. I'm not very impressed now," he replied, bored.

"Yes, yes, well. We have to keep a low profile; don't want to be in a big fancy high end establishment and have SHIELD come knocking-"

"Oh, of course, of course. Cut to the chase, what otherworldly abilities do you require now?" West cut him off, his black eyes gazing lazily past Pierce to the hallway behind him.

"Well then, follow me."

"It was about sixteen years ago when we found a new soldier,a young girl with red hair. Though she seemed to be only twelve, it was clear that she was a soldier. We took her in immediately and began testing, however..." they had reached a room where, on a metal table lay a single stele. Onyx's eyes widened. Shadowhunter he thought.

"She already was different." he finished for Pierce.

"Exactly. She was stronger, faster, could jump higher, could heal faster. She could beat adult male super soldiers. She was covered in scars and strange black marks that would sometimes disappear. But, even stranger, she could not be controlled. When we wiped her memory, it only made her angry, trigger words could be unaffective at times. The soldier could be complying at one moment, but then suddenly she was rebelling. And then, sometimes, she would be ready to comply before we even started. There was another like her; another girl but she is dead now. Before the girl's death, she was in and out of our control. It has been a while since she last was though. We send soldiers out to find her, only to find them massacred. But, just last night, we didn't find just the bodies; we found this." he gestured to the stele.

"Do you know what this is?" he asked the warlock.

"Indeed I do, it is how she got her powers, in fact, I can tell you how you can use it to get her back." Onyx said, interest in this girl forming a plan in his mind.

"So, if I draw the runes onto the test subjects, I will create monsters who are loyal to me?" Pierce asked.

"That, or you will create a soldier who is stronger than anything you would ever make," Onyx replied, looking down at the mundanes who were strapped into chairs. One or two of them were staring at him in horror, it was possible that they had the sight and may survive the runes if they have shadowhunter blood. After all; shadowhunter blood breeds true.

Pierce stepped forward and began to draw on the first subject. He screamed as the stele touched him, in pain as the might of the angels turned him into a monster. Pierce finished a few runes that HYDRA had drawn years ago, ones that they had seen on the young shadowhunter.

Soon after they had ten screaming mundanes with black marks glittering on their red, burning skin.

"How long will this take?" Pierce asked.

"A few hours. While we wait for them to transform, I will summon up some demons to aid your forsaken in capturing the girl,"

"Your aide has been very helpful to our cause West, do tell me, what do you desire as payment?"
