"what's wrong with you?" the manager asked as he followed elisa who was walking out, "you said you needed this job to keep you active and on your feet and your just quitting now?"

"don't say anything anymore. i'm scared that i'll continue to cause trouble here," elisa said as she walked off. that was until she heard a familiar voice, causing her to stop in her tracks.

"elisa!" camila said loudly enough for the footballer to hear her.

elisa didn't turn around, her back was still facing camila. "you've gotten off work already?" camila continued.

"don't provoke me," elisa said, turning around to finally face her. "walk down your own path, and i'll walk down my own." just as she was about to walk off - camila had to start again.

"your dad, hopefully you still visit his grave often, he's gone through difficult times." elisa's fists clenched at this.

"is the fact that my father's been through a lot of difficult times something that i should be hearing from you? are you getting pleasure in talking about it?"

when she got no reply, she scoffed and grabbed the collar of camila's white button up, "how can you say these kinds of things?!"

jia heard the shouting and looked out the window next to her, gasping as she quickly ran out to break it apart before anything else happened, one of the waiters followed her.

"camila!" jia said as she grabbed her arms and held her back.

"elisa, you're still the same-"

the footballer still had the spirit, wriggling even in the grip of the other waiters, "if you ever appear in front of my eyes again.. i won't let you off!" she shouted, attempting to inch toward.

🗓️ : the next day

jia finished filling her car up with petrol, walking out the station with a coffee in her hand. however, as she was about to get into her car, her phone started ringing.

"hello?" she asked as she put her phone up to her ear.

"hurry back to the office, come now," mr dubois said.

"mr dubois i-" she was hung up on once again, sighing. "he seriously has no manners." the girl dialled mr dubois again.

"manager," she said in a put on soft voice.

"what is it?"

"must you really have elisa de almeida?"

"what are you saying?"

"isn't it fine to find another player to replace elisa?"

"why?"

"well... there's a little problem."

"problem?" mr dubois asked, "is it something you can't solve?"

"it's nothing like that. actually-"

"i get it," mr dubois cut jia off, "don't bother about elisa de almeida, don't bother about a partnership. don't bother about anything, i'm hanging up!"

the call ended and jia frowned at her phone, "he should learn to be more flexible about the situation."
