Church Part 7

We go to church:

My phone rang at least five times, and after that it will go to voicemail, it rang again, shit who's calling me and won't leave a damn message this early. It rang again I jumped up and answered the call, mom said get up I looked at the time shit it's seven thirty. I asked her why she's calling me this early, mom said to make sure I'm up, so I won't be late for church.

I asked her what time church starts again, she said I know I've been going to church at the same time since I was a kid nothing's changed, I said ten forty-five, she said if I knew why I asked, I looked at the phone if she wasn't my mother, I'd tell her something. I said mom church doesn't start for another three hours I'm going back to sleep, she said just don't be late or does she have to come and get me, I told her I know the way, she hung up.

I just laid there, now I can't go back to sleep I got up and went into the bathroom and washed my face, I came out and put some running shorts on and my shoe, and a tee-shirt I walked out of the room and down the stairs Edward came in the door with the newspaper he said good morning, he didn't know I would be up so early he'll make breakfast. I told him not yet I'm going for a run and when I get back, I'll shower he can start then, he said very good sir, I told him he doesn't have to be so formal people called my father sir I'm just Marco, he said yes Mr. Marco.

I said in time he'll learn to call me Marco, I walked out the door, and ran down the driveway, I haven't been up this early in a long time and I'm sleeping without the sleeping pills. I ran for two miles and turned back and headed to the house I could feel the sweat from my balls running down my thighs, I went back home Edward said he'll start breakfast, shell he lay out my clothes for church, I forgot I told him I'm going to church. I started to say I'm a big boy I can do it, but I wanted to see what he would put out for me so I said that will be fine, I went upstairs and took off my clothes and got into the shower.

The things I do for my mother, I washed my body I wish I had a man to wash my back, I rinsed off and stepped out of the shower, I got dried off and brushed my teeth after that I did my facial routine. I put my robe on and walked out of the bathroom, Edward had my clothes laid out a tie was with the suit that wasn't mine, but it went better than the tie I bought for the suit, I guess Edward lent me one of his, he does dress well. Theirs a knock on the door I said come in, Edward came in and asked me will I be coming down for breakfast or should he bring a tray up, I told him I'll get dress and come down, I thanked him for the tie, he said no need he put the tie away I had with the suit, he left the room and I got dressed.

I checked my emails, and I had one from XK saying pray for him as he prays for me, I did tell him I'm going to church, I smiled and replied yes, I will and I'll hit him up later, I logged off and went downstairs. Edward makes a fine table I sat down, and he brought my food in the breakfast room, who would think that I would have a butler or houseman.

I ate and I have thirty minutes to get to church, Edward brought me my phone and said it keeps ringing, I told him it's my mother making sure I'm up, he took my plate and went into the kitchen I'm not calling mom I'll just see her at church. I went upstairs and looked at myself in the mirror damn I look good, I put on some cologne and my jacket and went downstairs and called for Edward to let him know I was leaving, he probably can't hear me. I walked to the front door and opened it, Edward is outside he had the back door open on my new car, he said shell we go I said he's driving me he said yes if I didn't mind him driving me.

I told him he didn't have too, he said he wants to, I got in the car damn I'm being driven to church, he closed the door and got in I told him where the church is, he said mom made sure he knew that we drove away. It didn't take us long to get to the church, Edward pulled right up front, I wish he hadn't done that, before I could say anything he got out of the car and walked around and opened the car door for me. I saw Mike and Patrick walking up they saw me getting out of the car, I told Edward I'll be going to my mom's house for dinner so I'll ride with her or one of my brothers he can have the rest of the day off, he said he's going to park the car mom invited him to the service he closed the door, and walked around and got in the car and drove away.
