The Villainess's Plan Failed Successfully

Prologue

I gazed mesmerizingly at starry night above.

I watch as the stars and darkness in the sky magnificently complements each other's lacking.

Adding to this sight, the moon efforlessly reigns in between them, glowing so beautifully.

The captivating sight I witness made me breathless, as the cold breeze of wind slowly comforted me with a hug.

With my head raised up looking above the sky, I flew away from reality and into the clouds of my imagination.

Not long after, I was dragged back into reality as I felt something brushed my shoulders.

I gently gaze at the huge veiny hands, wrapping around my shoulders, soon after that I was left with a blazer hanging on my back.

"You'll catch a cold."

Upon hearing a husky and manly voice behind me, I shivered slightly.

I turned around to face the man behind me but due to the disparity in our heights, I had to look up to meet his eyes.

It was definitely as beautiful as the starry night.

His eyes that slowly lures me in like a rose bearing its hidden thorn.

I lowered my eyes slowly to his tall and pointy nose and down to his red and plump lips.

His striking jaw and porcelain skin.

Height that was above 185 cm, along with his slim waist but broad shoulders.

Just from a sight, you could quiver and faint from a glance of his manliness and attractiveness.

A perfect human being.

Under normal circumstance, I would say "nobody is perfect"

Indeed.

But.

In this world...

As much as I hate to say it nor accept this fact.

This world was inside the novel and this man standing infront of me

Is the male lead.

In other words, he is someone an outsider like me should never covet.

A sigh uncontrollably escaped my mouth.

"Huu.."

His eyes widened and were suddenly alarmed, as his stares pierce through mine.

Out of reflex, I immediately avoided his eyes and turned my back from him.

"Collete.."

My heart skipped a beat from his soft voice calling my name.

I continued to stare at the ground as he softly caressed my right cheek with his big warm hands.

It was so warm that I couldn't help but close my eyes as I felt the warmth in my cheek.

Seeing it as an approval, he gently lifted my chin up to face him.

As soon as I opened my eyes, I was met with his longing and passionate gaze.

"Is there something that matters?"

"N-nothing.."

I couldn't help but stutter from the instense glare I was receiving so I shifted my eyes to the left to avoid it.

My heart beat began to beat so fast as the distance between us was slowly decreasing.

My eyes shaked violently, unable to react with the situation I was forced into.

His thumb ran across my cheeks and touched my lower lip, then he slowly rubbed it.

I widened my eyes in confusion as I stare at him, questioning his sudden actions.

As if unbothered with the questions written in my eyes, what he returned to me was a smile.

Then afterwards he held and lifted my left hand slowly placing it in his left cheek.

His huge hand wrapped around the back of my hand as he slowly leaned and put some weight in my palm.

"Collete, my lady.."

"State what you want and I shall give it to you. For I, Seigrid Von Heroux, am underneath your feet."

"I shall be all yours and.."

He spoked with conviction as he stared at me so intensely that I felt like melting from the heat of his gaze.

After pausing in between his words, he held my left hand off his cheeks and gently kissed my palm while still maintaining an eye contact with me.

The sudden uncomfortable feeling as I saw his eyes filled obsession made me take a step back.

But then he grabbed me using the hand that was touching my right cheek a second ago and pulled me closer to him.

With his breath closer to mine, he spit out the words I never would have thought I'd be able to hear.

"You're all mine, Collete Verne Ballard"

As soon as he delivered the blow, he slowly leaned closer to me and planted his soft lips on my cheeks.

"..."

"..."

After a few moments of silence, while I was wrapped inside his arms.

The sounds of our heartbeats relentlessly beats so loudly like a melody in tune.

Our eyes met, as I was left still speechless, he continued to examine my reaction.

*Chuckles*

He chuckled with his melodic voice as he saw how bewildered I was and immediately pulled me into a hug.

"Ah.. Collete.. How cute.."

"Did you really think you'd escape from me?"

"No matter what you say, I will never break off our engagement.

"I'd rather kill anyone who tries to steal you."

'Ah, he finally lose it.'

After all, how did things end up like this?

Can I really go back to my own world?

Even so, for some reason, my heart felt at ease...
