Scrambled Death Egg

At Resistance HQ... 

Sonic and Shadow finally arrived, and they explained everything that the Shadow they fought was a fake. They also explained how the fake was created and Infinite's power in virtual reality. Some of the team members were then sad and others were annoyed about the failure that was Operation Big Wave including Knuckles.

Knuckles: Things were going well with Operation Big Wave, but then everything fizzled out when that Phantom Ruby kicked in.

Silver then got a serious look on his face.

Silver: That fake Shadow was created using the Phantom Ruby's power, right? 

Ladybug(Miranette): Yes. Even if it's a virtual reality projection, it's as strong as the real Shadow.

Shadow: Rouge, have you found the intel I was looking for?

Rouge then got a serious look on her face.

Rouge: No, not yet. But I have reports that Eggman's database is located at the Chemical Plant. If we can check that out, we might find something there.

Sonic: That sounds like a promising lead. We have to figure out the secret behind Infinite's power and virtual reality. 

Ladybug(Miranette): I agree with you Sonic. Tails, can you handle this?

Tails: Got it. I'll take Sonic--I mean, the other Sonic-- with me and head to the Chemical Plant!

And Tails and Classic Sonic then ran out of the base to the Chemical Plant.

At The Chemical Plant...

The duo started to run through the Chemical Plant to search for the data base that Shadow was looking for. And Tails got a serious look on his face.

Tails: According to Rouge there should be a database here, we have to locate the building it's in. 

The young fox then got a worried look on his face.

Tails: There's a lot of ground to cover, so just finding it would be a chore.

Classic Sonic and Tails split into separate directions to continue the search. Classic Sonic went to a tunnel and saw a group of badniks then homing attacked them. He ran out of the tunnel and into a pipe system. The hedgehog exited from the pipe system and into a water pool. Then the young hedgehog collected air bubbles. Classic Sonic then got to a pit hole and landed in front a short line of egg pawns. Then all of a sudden, the water level had risen up and Classic Sonic had to jump to the surface.

Tails: Woah, the water level is rising. Something must have triggered it, stay sharp.

And Classic Sonic got out of the water. Then got onto a platform and into another tunnel system. And the duo found the database that Shadow was looking for.

Tails was happy and exhausted. But was glad to find the database.

Tails: Phew, so this is where the database is. Hold on a sec, while I access the data from this computer... Okay... failed battle plans... old robot designs... wow, he's got like ten terabytes of selfies... so where does he keep the--
