3rd pov:

Deep in the heart of a dense and mysterious forest, there stood a creepy old shack that belonged to a man named Ezekiel and his father. The locals whispered tales of the strange happenings that surrounded his dwelling, but two brave young boys named Harold and Justin decided to investigate the truth for themselves.

One day, as the wind whispered through the trees, Ezekiel sent an intriguing email to Harold and Justin. He described a hidden secret within the woods, behind his eerie shack that he called 'home'. The message piqued the boys' curiosity and filled their hearts with a mixture of excitement and trepidation.

When Harold and Justin arrived at the old shack, Justin seemed more interested in Ezekiel than the secret hidden in the woods. He couldn't help but flirt with Ezekiel, trying to charm him with his boyish smiles and playful banter. Harold, on the other hand, took their mission seriously and focused on uncovering the truth.

As they ventured deeper into the dark forest, their senses heightened. They could feel an air of unease that clung to the atmosphere, making the hairs on the backs of their necks stand on end. However, their determination overshadowed any fear that threatened to creep in.

Suddenly, amidst the twisted trees, they stumbled upon a gruesome sight. Before them, hung a rotting body, swaying eerily from a tree branch. It was Cody, a missing boy who had recently vanished from the neighboring town. Harold and Justin gasped in horror, assuming this was one of the boys they had been searching for.

Unbeknownst to them, Noah, the other missing boy, had been silently observing from the shadows. His heart shattered into a million pieces when he laid eyes on Cody's lifeless form. Tortured by grief and consumed by madness, Noah had descended into a dark pit of despair and insanity.

Desperate to give Cody some semblance of peace, Harold and Justin mustered up the courage to approach the hanging body. With trembling hands, they tentatively reached out to touch the ropes that held Cody captive.

But as they innocently attempted to untangle the knots, Noah's mind snapped. His anguish transformed into a primal rage, causing him to charge towards Harold and Justin with untamed fury. With each tug of the rope, Noah's torment escalated, shattering his psyche. The woods echoed with his feral screams as he lunged at the two boys, his eyes devoid of sanity.

Harold and Justin recoiled, their hearts pounding with fear. Stunned and bewildered, they stared into Noah's wild eyes, grieving for the loss of their friend and fearing for their own lives. The forest seemed to hold its breath, as if time stood still in anticipation of what would unfold next.

In their struggle to survive, Harold and Justin managed to break free from Noah's vicious grasp. Their fight-or-flight response urged them to escape, and they ran blindly through the dense undergrowth. Noah gave chase, his frenzied screams echoing through the trees.

After what felt like an eternity, Harold and Justin emerged from the woods, gasping for breath, their bodies trembling with exhaustion. They collapsed onto the cold ground, tears streaming down their faces as they mourned for the tragedy they had witnessed.

As time passed, the memory of that haunting day faded, and the town returned to its peaceful existence. The dark secrets of the forest remained locked away, only whispered amongst those who believed in the lingering spirits that haunted that cursed land.
