The energy emanating from the crowd was unbelievable. They seemed even more fevered than the LA and Imperial crowds, but then again, I'd been in a feral mood for those concerts, so there was a good chance that I just hadn't noticed.

I was in a strange mood tonight. I couldn't quite describe it, but I knew this concert was going to be impressive. We were standing to the side of the stage waiting for our opening act, a young guy named Mitch Hawker, to finish his set. He was into the final verse of his last song when Madi came rushing over to me.

"Cam! Phone.." She panted and handed the mobile over to me.

"Really? Now?!"

"It'll only take a second!" She persisted with a smile and I took the phone off her.

"Yeah?"

"Luck luck Cam!" Lee-Lee's voice rang out over the line. My heart melted and a big goofy grin covered my face.

Madi wasn't the only one wrecking havoc on my heart. Every time I heard this little angel's voice, it grew a little bigger.

"Thank you baby!"

"Miss you and Mummy."

"We miss you too pretty girl."

Mitch finished his song and moved off the stage to an enormous response of cheers and applause from the crowd. The kid was good and deserved it. He'd be huge one day. The announcer led him off stage with words or praise and adoration and then announced the beginning of our set.

The crowd became a mad frenzy of anticipation.

Eddie was called out first and he took up his place behind the drums. He bashed a tune out on them and the crowd screamed appreciatively.

Theo flew out onto the stage with his electric guitar held up in one hand above his head. He took up his place, plugged it in and joined in on the tune that Eddie had started.

"Show time man." Said Seth with a smile as wide as the Australian coastline. He took off across the stage already strumming his bass.

"Lee-Lee I have to go baby girl! Bye."

"Bye!" She started and the announced yelled out my name. The crowd went mental. I could barely hear Seeley on the other end of the phone. "Love you Cam."

The whole world stopped.

The noise from the crowd was suddenly drowned out by my heart beating so heavily in my chest that I was worried I was about to pass out. Madi was looking at me very strangely.

"You getting some nooky back there or what Cam? Get your ass out here and play for this crazy crowd!" Came the announcers voice again. The noises suddenly came crashing down around me. I blinked and shook my head. Madi was holding her hand out for the phone.

"Cam.. Go!" She urged.

"I love you too Lee-Lee." I said into the phone before handing it over to her. I meant it too. I barely knew that little girl, but I sure as hell loved her. The look on Madi's face had changed and I was hell pressed to be able to describe it.

"Guys and girls... Cam Farley!" The announcer pressed. I grabbed Madi around the waist and kissed her hard and quick, then let her go and ran out onto the stage. The boys had played the start of the song three times before I got out. They all shook their heads at me, to which I smiled, turned to the crowd and started belting out our first song.

"Sometimes love can be a bitch. You just have to hold your head high and go with it!"

I found myself looking around for Madi throughout the entire show. The camera was attached to her face the whole time, but whenever she caught me looking at her through the lens, she'd drop it down and smile sweetly or wink at me. By the end of the concert, she was dancing around on the outskirts of the stage, like she was part of the crowd. I had no idea how any of her photos were going to be in focus.
