Y/n could barely see straight ahead of herself as she tried making her way to her quarters. Yes she was on the younger side for working in the castle but she had done well in everything she faced and soon caught the eye of the Emperor as a possible asset to the covens. 

She was quickly placed in the Emperors coven under an apprenticeship of Lilith. At first the young witch drove Lilith crazy due to the almost constant barrage of questions, but soon enough the coven head got used to Y/n.

 She still didn't care a whole ton for having a, as she saw it, child follow her most places but she had to admit, the kid had potential and was not lacking in power. Y/n would be old enough to actually become part of the coven soon enough and mostly off her hands, though not entirely.

 After all Lilith was head of the Emperors coven. Y/n finally made it to her quarters and barely made it in the door before collapsing face first on the ground passed out. Lilith walked down the corridor to Y/n's room needing her for a task. 

As soon as Lilith entered she saw the girl passed out on the floor. At first she considered waking her apprentice up but soon decided against it. As Lilith was about to leave the girl to her own devices a bird flew through the window with a message.

 "Y/n, I require your presence at once" Kikimora's voice echoed in the room. Annoyed Lilith grabbed the bird and recorded a new message. "The girl is with me and you will do well to leave her be at this time Kiki" Lilith's voice had a sharp edge to it and clear resent meant could be heard unmistakably in it.

 She let the bird fly away before looking back down at Y/n on the floor. She went over to Y/n's bed grabbing a pillow and a blanket. She walked with quick strides over to the girl and draped the blanket over her and placed the pillow under her head gently.

 Lilith set Y/n's alarm for an hour later than her usual morning wake up and walked out of the room conjuring a Do Not Disturb sign on Y/n's door. She smiled to herself as she walked away back to her office. She'd see Y/n tomorrow and hopefully she'd be good as new.
