Eda x F! Reader

A/n: Just to set time things straight, the flashback happens before King was around. Anyways enjoy this angst, fluff, confession, thingy or whatever. It 1410 words soooo yeah

"So I was gonna do anything, to make sure that you were safe" Those words echoed in Eda's head as she said them. A familiarity for those words seemed to awaken.

"But now, it's all over" Eda's head felt like it was ringing. She could do nothing but watch what horrors may come. If she wasn't petrified first that is. Soon Eda found herself being escorted to a carriage, yet it wasn't the one you would expect to see in a town of magic and fairy tales. For those are ones of lavish decor, yet this one had bares and barren walls like a moving jail cell. 

In the background she heard Luz calling out to her but she was a bit preoccupied with her thoughts. She grunted as an abomaton pushed her into the moving jail cell. Eda sat with her back against the wall and full of defeat. As she sunk down the words of her previous statement echoed in her head continuously.

(*flashback*)

Y/n knocked on Eda's door with a hint of urgency. It was pouring boiling rain but she didn't care what happened now, she had to get help. Hooty just stared at her in horror until the door opened. "Hey, what in titans name happened to you?"

 Eda's happy greeting soon turned to a look of concern as she saw Y/n in front of her cut and bruised within and inch of the poor girls life. It looked like she could barley walk and her clothes had rips and burnt away pieces of fabric, Eda assumed it was from running through the forest and the boiling rain killing her clothes. 

"Um, hey" Y/n responded awkwardly. "Don't you hey me, get in here right now" Eda practically pulled Y/n in to the house and shut the door. She guided Y/n to the kitchen and sat her down on a chair. "Mind explaining this?"

 Eda spoke after a bit of running around grabbing things to heal Y/n. "Rain, bushes and guards are what happened" Y/n explained as she watched Eda moving around. "And how did you get in a tangle with those nerds?"

 Eda added a small laugh at the end followed by a snort. "Just out and about and I ran into them" Y/n fussed around in the chair trying to get as comfortable as possible. "L-l-l-liarrrrr" Eda called out like she was announcing the winner of a game show.

 "No I'm not" Y/n responded rather defensively. "Yeah, sure you aren't. You are a horrible liar Y/n so don't even try with me. What happened?" Eda sat down next to Y/n ready to clean any of the cuts on her. Y/n clung to the chair and backed away from Eda.

 "Is that gonna hurt?" Y/n asked worriedly. "Like a painbow, yes. Now give me your arm" She reached out a hand towards Y/n. "N-n-n-n-no you are not coming near me with that" Y/n scooted away a bit more. "It's a rag and some water since I'm not good enough to heal all of this by myself yet...unless you want to be an experime—" "Nooo thank you. I'm not being some lab rat" Y/n shot in before Eda could finish.

 "Well, suit yourself, now come on, give me your arm" Reluctantly Y/n held out her arm and Eda started cleaning the wounds. "Now tell me what actually happened...oh and no lying, I will know" Y/n sighed and she started to explain what really went down.

 "Well, I ran into Odalia again" Eda groaned and Y/n continued "We got in a fight and, it didn't turn out good for me. Guards came to settle the duel, they found out I was a wild witch and I ran for it." Y/n winced as Eda worked but made sure not to make any sound beside speaking. "Does this happen often?" Eda was focusing hard on pulling a thorn out of Y/n's upper left arm. 

"No" Y/n lied but Eda was to focused to notice. "GOT IT!" Eda yelled in triumph when the thorn came out. "OW, TITAN!!!" Y/n yelped. Eda moved to Y/n's other arm. "So, Odalia did this to you. You mean the rich, bully dork from Hexside?"

"The one married to Alador Blight" Y/n continued. "I see, what did you do to provoke her?" Eda was rather calm by, Eda standards. "She's just petty about not getting to beat me up at Hexside cause you and Lilith were always around. I hate to admit it but even with a coven she can still beat me up pretty good" Eda snorted "I see that" 

Y/n sat in silence for a while. Eda worked away at Y/n undisturbed till she checked Y/n's right leg. "Your tibula is fractured" Eda states in a rather deadpan voice. "And it seems older than just an hour ago" Y/n's eyes shot open staring down at Eda. 

"Ok, I'm all better now, time for me to go" Y/n spoke in a rushed voice. She stood up and winced some more walking the best she could which was more of a hop. "Sit. back. down." Eda demanded. 

Y/n quickly took a seat again with a nervous look plastered across her face. "When did this happen and how are you walking, if that's even what you can call it" Eda narrowed her eyes. "It's nothing I swear"

"It's fractured Y/n" Eda replied quickly. "It's fine" Y/n growled and crossed her arms. "Dang you're stubborn" Eda grabbed Y/n's leg a bit rougher than she meant to and Y/n let out a pained yelp. 

"Luckily for you I can heal this, unluckily or luckily, depending on how you look at it you're staying here for three nights at least" Y/n whined and looked down at Eda. "Now, how did you get this?" Y/n sighed "From Odalia" Eda looked shocked and also confused. "Wasn't this the first time she beat up on you?" Eda was very concerned and confused. 

"No" Eda looked at Y/n in shock. "No? So you lied by saying it didn't happen often. I knew some of these looked one or two days old, this fracture looks old and bad. You didn't heal it properly" Eda scolded her beginning to lose her patience "I'm sorry ok!" Y/n sunk back into the chair.

"Why didn't you come get me earlier?" Eda stood up and stared down at Y/n. "Because" Y/n said raising her voice. "Because why? I would have helped" Eda, started to get riled up.

 "Because she threatened to hurt anyone that I told about this and who offered me help" Y/n yelled. "I can take care of myself, I have for years, just tell me why you lied" Eda pushed on. "Because I love you" Y/n snapped and stood up despite the pain, walking towards Eda a bit "I love you so darn much, so when Odalia came to me with the threat of hurting you if I said anything...I was going to do anything, to make sure that you were safe. Y/n yelled till her voice started cracking at the end as tears steadily flowed down her cheeks. She backed up and sat down again, curling into a ball on the chair.

 Eda stood stalk still in shock looking at Y/n with a look that showed her mind was pure chaos as she processed what was going on. "You love me?" Eda asked still in shock. Y/n only nodded as more tears fell. 

Eda stood silent for a moment before walking over and gently hugging Y/n. "I have good mind to smack you right now you idiot...but, I can let it slide this time." Y/n hugged back without saying anything, but by the way Y/n clung to her, she new everything she needed to know. Y/n loved her and Eda loved Y/n back. They would need to sort out the lying thing later but that would hopefully pass with time. 

(*End of the flashback*)

The movement of the moving cell going over a bump startled Eda out of her memories. She curled up and tears spilled for a while till the cart came to a stop. The doors swung open and Eda looked up as someone ran towards her. "Eda! Raine called out to her" Eda looked up at Raine in confusion. "It's ok, you're safe, lets get you out of this shall we?" Raine helped Eda to her feet and Eberwolf came to break the chains with his teeth. Eda rubbed her wrists and looked up and out of the cart she had been in. "W-what is all of this?" Eda stuttered still in shock. "Eda, welcome to, the covens against the throne!!!" 

A/n: Hello my wonderful peoplessss. HA! You'll never know what happened to Y/n so I'll leave that up to you or rather she, if she made it to join the CAT's or not. Then again if you really want to know my interpretation of what happened, you can request a part 2. Anyways byyeeeee
