[ CHAPTER.. 2 ]
Carmilla glared at the doctor that entered the room, ' Hello, Carmilla. I'm Dr. Jones. '
Dr. Jones smiled as Carmilla looked at him suspiciously, ' How do you know my name? '
Mara held Carmilla's hand tight as Dr. Jones began to talk, ' Your in the patient logs, do you not—remember? '
Carmilla watched as Dr. Jones clicked the pen. ' Do I know you...?- ' Carmilla asked, ' Its Dr. Jones—Carmilla.' Dr. Jones swept open the door, ' Don't escape, its for your own good. '
Carmilla saw Dr. Jones exit the room, Carmilla tightened her grasp of Mara's hand. ' Mara...? '
Carmilla looked at Mara, ' Yes, Carmilla? ' Mara smiled at her, ' Mara, why did he ignore you. '
Mara changed the subject, ' Carmilla, it's cold. Go under the covers. ' Carmilla did so then.
The snow wooshed loudly outside the window, Carmilla turned pale at the sight of it.
Mara sat at the bedside, looking plainly outside the window. ' Mara? ' Carmilla uttered.
' Oh, yes Carmilla? ' Mara adjusted her frown into a wide smile. ' Mara, i'm already bored. '
Mara slowly got up from the bedside, holding Carmilla's hand.
' Well, then. ' Carmilla's eyes lightened, ' Let's play tag, Carmilla. ' Mara held her hand tighter.
' How will we play tag in such a small, dull room? ' Carmilla asked, looking around.
Mara beamed, ' We don't have to play in here. ' Mara glanced over to the window.
' Isn't it locked though...? ' Carmilla frowned. ' No, not completely. ' Mara stated.
Mara fiddled with the window lock, ' Carmilla, give me the fork. '
Carmilla nodded, rushing to the rustic fork, handing it over to Mara.
' Thank you, Carm. ' And, that was the first time Mara called her that.
Mara fumbled with the fork, jerking the fork upwards finally unlocking it.
Carmilla's light lit up as Mara opened the window, cold winds rushed inside.
' Carm, take this coat. ' Mara insisted, handing a warm wool coat that was in the cabinets before—dusty, itchy looking, a christmas coat without the patterns.
Carmilla walked to the window, sticking her head out the window, looking at the ground below.
' Mara, this is far too high. ' Carmilla looked back at Mara. ' Carmilla, i'll go first, i'll catch you. '
Mara climbed onto the window ledge, jumping down. ' MARA! ' Carmilla shouted, covering her eyes.
As Carmilla opened her eyes, she saw Mara was holding out her arms and shouting, ' Jump Carmilla! '
