EMMA
As soon as Emma got out of the shower, she had three people working on her hair, two on her makeup, and she was being fed a small sandwich by another person so she didn't arrive on an empty stomach, which was helping with her mood very much.
After doing the best everyone could with 5 minutes remaining, Kate and 2 others helped her put on the dress she would be wearing.
It was a sexy but elegant dress at the same time- a strapless, gold sequined dress that made Emma's hair stand out. A stunning combination of sunkissed, fiery orange and dark blonde, making it one of her most striking features.
After strapping her heels on and reapplying more lipstick, She turned around and faced Mario, her stylist. "Gorgeous Em. Even better than we had imagined it." His eyes shone as he admired the dress.
"Yeah?" Emma asked, just to be reassured.
He nodded and placed a hand over his chest. "And no one would have guessed this took 40 minutes to accomplish." He said as everyone in the room started laughing and clapping.
Jack had already left, so Emma just had to say goodbye to Kate before leaving on the limo with Mario.
Emma walked over to her as she was taking pictures like a maniac. "Kitty stop," she laughed as she went over to grab her phone.
She huffed and put the phone far away from Emma. "Yeah, not stopping. When you have little, tiny kids, I'll be showing them these behind-the-scenes pictures of you."
Emma rolled her eyes and shook her head. "Hopefully not happening any time soon."
Kate laughed and pushed Emma's shoulder so she could start walking in the other direction. "Get some hot dates while you're out there will you? One for me too."
Emma shook her head and laughed as she saw Rufus open the car door again. Mario and four stylists got in from the other side and started rambling, making sure everything was perfect.
It was only a 5-minute drive, so every stylist was going crazy on Emma with the makeup retouches, which she kept complaining about.
"I think that's enough, right Mario?" Emma gave him a look but he was too preoccupied with watching how another lady outlined the lipstick, again.
She sighed and looked out the window, grateful to find out they had already arrived.
"Well, that's it for now, sorry." Emma said while grabbing her clutch.
"Em we have to do another touch-up in an hour, so don't hide from us," Mario said sternly.
"Of course I won't," she replied with a side smile. He definitely knew Emma would not be seen again.
Rufus opened the car door and she didn't even have time to process the thousands of screams and flashing lights that started as soon as she stepped out. Emma was definitely not the first to arrive, but thankfully not the last. She could already see many other people posing the red carpet in front of her, all making their way towards the entrance.
