Sal: "So, then we're going to go to the venue, right?" you look to Sal and he nods, confirming it. "Right," he replies, squeezing your hand. Suddenly, the elevator lights flicker and it jolts to a stop. "AAHHH!" you shout out, clinging to Sal. "Hey, hey. It's all right. Calm down," he says gently, stroking your hair. "I'll just call someone, let them know where we are and it'll be fine." You nod slowly, heart pounding as he makes a call. "Ten minutes? Great. Thank you!" he says, then hangs up his phone. "TEN minutes?" you say frantically. What if the cables snapped? Or what if, what if..."Ten minutes, just ten minutes," he slides down and sits on the elevator floor and pulls you onto his lap. "Shh...It's okay, I'm here," he says soothingly. Right. Just ten minutes.
Brian (Q): "Bri! Stop! You're going to break the elevator!" you laugh as Brian hits all the buttons over and over. "No I'm not! Plus, this is fun," he replies, grinning like a little kid. Suddenly, all the buttons flicker, then go out. The elevator freezes. "Crap!" you call out, grabbing his hand. "I told you!" Brian shrugs and hits the Emergency Call button. "They'll be here soon," he says simply. "Want to play a game?" You raise an eyebrow, surprised at his calm demeanor. "Fine. What game?" you ask, sitting down on the elevator floor. "Hm. How about spin the bottle?" he holds up his half-empty water bottle and places it on the floor. "Bri, there's only two of us," you say, a slight grin. "That's the point," he replies, winking.
James (Murr): Your heart drops as the elevator goes black, along with nearly every light in San Francisco. A major black out. You look out the side of the glass elevator, seeing darkness and more darkness. "How the heck are we going to get out of here?" you whimper. You fumble for him in the darkness and you feel him wrap his arms around you. "With the power out, we can't," he says gently. "But we can wait here till the power gets back on." You nod slowly and lean into his chest. "Plus, it's just us two in the dark..." he trails off. You lean up and trace his jawline. "Maybe this black out isn't so bad..."
Joe: "We should stop!" you shout between laughs, you and Joe both hopping up and down and trying to get pictures in mid-air. "We shouldn't jump on an elevator! It'll get st-" You're cut off with a bit of irony. The elevator freezes. "Crap!" Joe says, laughing. "But, wait. There's no food in here." His tone suddenly turns serious. "Help! Help!" he pounds on the metal door and you watch with amusement. You take out your phone and send a quick text. "Brian, me and Joe are stuck in the elevator...get help? thanks :)" Brian replies quickly asking if you're all right and saying he told the hotel manager. "HELP! HELP!" Joe continues to shout. "Joe, calm your cute little booty, Brian's got help and he's on his way," you say teasingly, patting his shoulder. "Oh, thank GOD," he says, sighing with relief. "Oh, you like my cute little booty, yeah?" He laughs and shakes his butt for you. "Oh, Joe..." you say smiling.
