Chapter 18

Jakob's POV
"Are you fucking around with me? I hate these types of jokes."

"I'm serious. Why do you think we were gone all day? We went to the doctor."

"Do you know what it is yet?"

"No. It's way too early."

Richard walked up to me and Jordan.

"Yo is Lix messing with me?"

"No. She isn't messing with you."

"I'm gonna be the fun uncle."

"Nah. That's gonna be me."

"You're all gonna be the crackhead uncles. Don't stress Lixie out. She's only 9 weeks along so we need to start to limit her stress."

Alix and Kira walked up to us.

"Baby? Can you go wake Dalton up? I pinched him and it didn't work. Can you go scream in his ear for me?"

"Of course."

I walked to Dalton's room. I opened the door then went in. I walked up to his bed and screamed in his ear. He jumped up.

"Not cool bro!"

"Alix is pregnant. Get up."

The next day, I woke up and saw Alix rubbing her stomach.

"Good morning my love."

"Who's that? Is that daddy talking?"

I smiled.

"I have a small bump. I started talking to little baby Croft when I noticed."

She moved her shirt up a bit and I saw a tiny bump. I put my hand on her stomach and started rubbing it.

"Hello my little one."

I sat up and kissed Alix then bent down and kissed her stomach.

"What're we doing today?"

"I was thinking about spending some time on the beach."

"Okay. Let's go then."

We got up and got dressed. Alix slid her bikini on.

"Your bump looks amazing in that."

Her face started turning red. I walked up to her and spun her around. She wrapped her arms around me.

"I love you."

"I love you too!"

I kissed her a few times in a row. Someone knocked on our door.

"Are you both awake?"

Alix walked up to the door and opened it.

"Hey JJ! I have a bump!"

"Can I?"

"Mhm!"

I walked up to the door and saw his hand on her stomach.

"I bet...I'm gonna have another niece."

"I want a daughter."

"Yeah. Me too. I've always wanted a little girl."

We went across the street to the beach and set up. Alix and Kira laid down underneath the tent. They started talking about baby things while looking at baby items online.

Me and my brothers started playing with a football.

"Hold on. I need a drink."

I threw the football to Dalton. I walked over to the tent. I got under it and opened the cooler.

"Hi baby!"

"Hello darling."

I bent down and kissed Alix. I grabbed my water and started drinking.

"Can I show you a little outfit?"

"Mhm. Sure."

I sat down on the sand and she handed me her phone.

"Awww. I like that. We'll start baby shopping once we get home."

My brothers walked up to the tent and sat down. They grabbed their drinks and started drinking. Kira crawled into Richard's lap. He wrapped his arms around her.

Alix looked at me with puppy dog eyes.

"Please?"

"Of course."

I held my arms out and she crawled into my lap.
