The cool August air filled the station, but you couldn't possibly be cold with all the families around you. Your hands gripped the metal cart tightly that held you and your brother's belongings, your gaze on the brunette twat. He always left you to do his 'chores.' Apparently, as his twin sister—younger by seven minutes—you were awarded the position of bagkeeper.

You panned your gaze across the station, smiling softly at the blonde woman hugging her first-year daughter tightly. The girl didn't want to let go, her hands gripping the mother's blouse as she slowly pushed her back, whispering how things would be okay. Your smile grew sadder as you watched the interaction, knowing your mother would never—could never—do the same.

With all your focus on the pair before you, you hadn't realised a woman had stood beside you. "Hello, Y/n," the black-haired woman greeted softly, a comforting smile on her lips. "Are you ready?"

You shrugged, sighing heavily, pushing your thoughts about your deceased mother into the depths of your head. "I guess. Theo left me with all his junk," you stated, your voice a soft grumble. "I'm tempted to leave it here."

The woman beside you chuckled before placing her hand on your shoulder. "As funny as that would be, I don't advise fulfilling that desire."

You nodded. "I know, Mrs. Malfoy. I just always get left behind," you mumbled, fixing your gaze on the platform.

Mrs. Malfoy squatted down before embracing you in a motherly hug you so desperately craved. "Everything will work out, dear," she whispered by your ear, "I'm sure of it." She slowly pulled away, smiling at you.

Inside, you felt warm, not in a hot or sick way but rather in comfort, contentment, and love. "Thank you," you said, returning a smile.

The moment was quickly ruined as your brother chased the blond throughout the station, the blond using you as a brake pad. His pale body slammed into yours, knocking you both to the ground. You groaned, reaching for your head as the floor of the platform was far from soft. Narcissa pulled Draco from on top of you before she reached for you.

"Hello to you, too, Draco," you grumbled, rubbing the back of your head with your palm.

The boy glared at you before his mother smacked the backside of his head. "Sorry, Y/n," he rushed, startled by his mother's action.

You nodded, acknowledging his half-forced apology. Your attention quickly sifted to the brown-haired boy you called brother. "C'mon, Theo!" you scoffed, grabbing your things from the cart. "Put your own stuff on the train, or it's staying here!" You shoved through the sea of people to reach the loading car. You placed your trunk and your frog, Mr. Ribbit, on the car before nodding to the man with a smile as he carefully placed your belongings on the train.
