my alarm sounded waking me and taylor both. i dragged myself out of bed and started to get ready. taylor was taking me to the airport so i could go to "arizona". i still feel bad about the fact that i lied to taylor. because if something happens she won't know where to find me. i just have to make sure i'm cautious and stay out the way of paps in rhode island.

"you ready to go?" taylor asked

"yeah i'm ready" i say as we walk out the front door.

the drive to the airport was mainly silent. we didn't talk much instead of the occasional times taylor would talk about how much she was going to miss me. the whole drive just was just thinking that this little getaway is good for me and that i shouldn't be ashamed of taking this time to myself.

after awhile we arrived at the airport. taylor dropped me off kissing me goodbye.

"bye baby i'll miss you!" tay said engulfing me in a hug.

"i'll miss you too!" i said with fake excitement.

"text me when you land okay?" she said.

"yep! bye taylor!" i said. i could sense a cringe on her face i rarely called her "taylor" the only time i use her full name is when i'm pissed at her.

everything went smoothly through the airport. every once in a while someone would ask for a picture which i gladly accepted.

after a while i was finally able to board the plane. as we took off i felt a huge weight get lifted off of me; one i wasn't even aware of. i can't wait until we land.

after about an hour we finally landed. luckily the flight was not long at all so it went smoothly. as soon as i landed i went to get a rental car then make my way to the house which was about an hour or so away.

once i got into the house i felt and instant relief. i opened up some windows to let some fresh air in and the ocean could be heard in the distance.

i decided to get out a book that i brought and sit out on the balcony so i could feel the sea breeze and hear the waves. i made a mental note of going down to the beach at sunset. the sunsets are always so calming here.

after reading for a while i decided to scroll on social media on my phone. i realized i forgot to turn off airplane so when i did my phone was instantly flooded with messages from taylor. i forgot to text her when i landed, shit.

i opened messages and read all that was sent from taylor.
