you and taylor were cuddled up on the couch watching a movie, when all of a sudden taylor got a call from her phone.

"hold on y/n i'll be right back my dad is calling me" she said as she got up and kissed my forehead.

"okay baby" you said

you continued watching the movie. taylor was in the other room on the phone. as you were watching, you heard a bang and a shatter. you got up to see what it was. the sound sounded like it came from the room taylor was in.

when you walked in, you were met with taylor on the ground crying. you looked around the room and saw a vase on the floor and her phone by it. she must've thrown her phone at it. you quickly ran to taylor's side.

"taylor what's wrong baby?!" you asked quickly scooping her up in your embrace.

"i-it's-'' she tried to say but it just made her cry more.

"shh baby it's okay i'm here" you said as you comforted her.

taylor began to sob harder and started to shake. you tried everything in your power to try and calm her down but it just wasn't working. you scooped her up from the ground and carried her into your shared bedroom.

you set her on the bed and then got in with her. you just laid there with her. you let her cry and comforted her and never left her side. she eventually started to calm down.

"are you okay baby?" you asked while stroking your fingers through her hair.

she simply just shook her head.

"here why don't i run you a bath and then once your finish maybe you can tell me what's wrong?" you asked calmly.

she nodded her head so you went to start the bath while she got undressed.

soon she walked in and got in the bath so you started to walk out.

"wait-'' taylor said quietly.

you turned back around so you were facing her.

"can you cuddle me?" she said with a sad expression on her face.

"of course baby" you said as you took off your clothes and got in with her.

you sat there for a little while in silence while you held taylor.

"do you want to tell me what happened tay?" you asked softly.

"it's my mom.." she said with a sigh.

"her cancer came back." she said with no emotion on her face.

"oh baby i'm so sorry" you said as you held her tightly and kissed her head.

"it's ok i'm just scared. i know she beat it the first time i just... i don't know" she said unable to find the right words.

"it's okay to be scared taylor. i'm going to be here for you every step of the way" you said.

"i love you y/n" she said kissing your hand.

" i love you too tay." you said with a smile.
