Chapter 4

Vegas enters his house. He rarely comes in this big building filled with artificial humans. Where people just live and love for money. Mother's hug or father's pat on the back all happens when people and cameras surround them. As soon as the crowd disappears the masks drop naturally and ugly souls are all in the display. Mom and Dad would go their respective mistresses, his brother will have his addictions laid on the table , white powders , several needles, he feeds on drugs rather on food. Nobody ever in his house cared about each other. Nobody was aware what one is going through. Vegas often use to think , how is it possible that he is not as ruthless or as fake as his family is. Why doesn't he get attracted to all the money and lavish lifestyle. He even went on to do some investigation to find out if he was adopted but unfortunately he was not. His parents were his real parents. In his teenage he suffered a lot from all these questions but slowly accepted that he was just born with a soul that's totally different from his family. He had a dark side too, he always knew it. He knew his capabilities to turn into a monster. Every slap his Dad would land on his face , always gave Vegas and urge to strangle the man and make him suffer for a tiny bit of oxygen. He has had visuals of chopping his father into pieces. But he always knew that these thoughts if put into action will hurt him eventually. And he didn't want that. He wanted to built a good and decent life for himself. He only let that leash on himself loose for Pete. For Pete he can kill anyone no matter the consequences. But right now Vegas feels that he would kill Pete himself. Pete destroyed his life. He has been so far able to live without being under his father's control. And there is no lie that Pete has been one of the greatest reasons. With Pete around, Vegas's life was stable. He himself was also earning and Pete's help never let any hurdle come in the way of his needs. Then eventually Pete made him quit all work and just continue with the boxing thing because Pete took care of every expense. But now Vegas has to think of another way. His father has already bashed up his boxing coach. And no other places are ready to keep Vegas as a worker. His Dad is using everything in his power to make his survival almost impossible here. He has to come up with a way to escape his Dad's evil intentions of getting him married for a business alliance.

"You are here son ?" Gun says to Vegas
"I am not your son"
"Unfortunately you are. Nothing can erase that fact"
"Why do you do this. Fine you don't want me to date Tawan or any other person, i won't. Why do you have to get me married. Don't you feel ashamed of selling your son. What makes you think you are a father" Vegas's vulnerability came out in form of words and as always were met with a tight slap reddening his entire face with a small scratch that drew blood in it.

"You are my son , i gave you birth and I raised you with my money, so if I say sell yourself, you will sell yourself. Children are a fucking investment and I need my return now. So you will marry the girl I chose for you"

Vegas was fuming from inside. He wanted to kill Gun right then and there but no he still has value of his own life. He won't do anything to go to jail. He has to work out something clever. He definitely is not going to marry and be imprisoned for life in this house. He has to plan a way out. He goes to his room trying to hint to his father that he has given up.

Vegas is thinking hard. He knows he can easily damage the alarm systems and run out of here. He just has to dodge the security men and he is an expert in it from his childhood. However things are not easy this time. If he has to save himself from this marriage drama , he will have to elope Bangkok. There is not a single place in this city that his father doesn't know. He will find him immediately. But issue lies in the money. Vegas has no money. He needs it even if it's a city to city run. In entire Bangkok no one will help him. He has just two options and he doesn't want to explore any of them. One to ask Pete for money. Won't it be shameless for him to ask money from the man who is the reason for this damage to his life and second option is his Dad's money. Vegas has never been fond of this money. As soon as he turned 17 he stopped using anything from his father's income. He doesn't want to have the money that comes by committing every type of crime probably. But then what can he do. At this moment he is really regretting that why couldn't he make money for himself rather than listening to Pete and leaving his jobs.
