Saanvi's POV.
The day before the fresher party.

We woke up from our nap or more like Ishaani through a jug of water on my face whatever it is but we woke up.
She looks tensed don't know why. I tried to ask her but she always changed the topic so I didn't push her. I don't want to cross the boundaries and make her uncomfortable.
I know she will tell me everything when she feels like that.
Well, we woke up at 5 p.m. Yes, we just took a nap don't know how time suddenly flew (hehehe).
We freshened up and made our way downstairs where Ruhaan was waiting for us.
"Finally the two sleeping beauties made their presence" he said with a tsk sign.
"I am sorry it happens cause of me. Just cause of me she can't take her lectures. I didn't do it intentionally just cause I couldn't sleep the whole night and when I saw her I felt relaxed and sleepy so" I cleared myself cause I didn't want him to misunderstand me.
They both look at each other and then at me.
"Babe he is just taunting us 'cause we make him wait for us here not the other way" Ishaani said. I looked at Ruhaan and he nodded but then he frowned and looked at me.
God, how a person can change his expression like that? It's weird.
"Why didn't you sleep last night" he asked and Ishaani looked at me like I cheated on her.
Why are they so weird?
"I live with you and I am your best friend but you didn't tell me you didn't sleep last night but you told him," she said angrily and in a sad tone.
What's happening God?
"When did I tell you" I asked Ruhaan. Is he a magician or mind reader but I didn't say that in my mind also.
"God, why I am dealing with these idiots" he said and glared at us.
What is happening is he having mood swings? But how can he have mood swings if he isn't on his period or did he?
"Are you on your period?" I asked Ruhaan and again his expression changed in a horrified one. Okay, so he is period. I should have understood in the beginning.
"Are you out of your mind or what?" Ruhaan yelled at me and now it's confirmed he is in his period so many mood swings that's why.
"Saanvi from where did you get this idea that he can have periods " Ishaani who has been a statue for some time asked.
"Didn't every animal have a menstrual cycle once in a year and apes and humans have every month?" I said. Didn't they read biology? Or maybe they skipped that chapter like me but thank god I read that chapter one night before the science exam in 10 board but I don't remember much except that menstrual cycle paragraph.
"Baby, what happened with you who tells you that every animal from the animal kingdom has periods? If I remember clearly the books say every female in the animal kingdom gets periods not males." Ishaani said and that's new information.
"Really why is that? Why do only females bleed and males don't" I asked.
"cause there is a difference between male and female body" she said making me confused.
"Ladies, I know that whatever you both are talking about is an important issue but if you forget we are in public and if others listen to you both talk god knows what will they think," Ruhaan said but what he wanted to say cause I didn't understand anything.
