I was in the middle of the battlefield. An all too familiar one at that. My heart sank. I knew what was gonna happen. I refocused back, to see Sirius in front of me, yelling spells after spells at Lucius. I could hear Bellatrix's obnoxious laugh sounding every so often. I tried to move, but it seemed like I was paralyzed.
Just as Lucius was disarmed Bellatrix sent the killing curse at Sirius. I watched in horror as my godfather fell into the veil. I ran to him trying to reach through the veil but nothing met my hands except air. Suddenly I saw Hermoine on her deathbed. Her eyes bore holes into me.
" Why didnt you do anything to save me? " I heard her say.
" No I tried- looking for -- "
" Me too. Why didnt you try to save me? James and Lily died too because of you " I tuned behind to see Sirius.
" Wha- No! I am sorry- I-"
" Yeah, isn't he an unlucky presence? He kills anyone who is by his side. " I hear Dumbledore say from beside me. Everyone around me, Sirius, Hermoine, Fred, Mum, dad, Ginny, everyone started chanting a single phrase.
" It was all your fault "
I woke up in cold sweat. The phrase still repeating continuously in my mind. This had been the third time this week I had dreamt of the battle. And each time it got worse. I rubbed my temple getting up from the bed to go to the bathroom and splash some cold water on my face.
I called Melony, half expecting her to be asleep. But thankfully she appeared a moment later.
" Master be having a nightmare? " she asked.
" Yeah. Can you brew me some German Chamomile if its not too much trouble? " I asked. She nodded and disappeared with a poof. I went down to the sitting area and plopped onto one of the arm chairs. Fire roared in the chimney with a flick of my wrist and I leaned back into the armchair, taking a deep breath and rubbing away the tension on my temple.
Melony appeared with the tea a few moments later. I thanked her and took a sip. A sigh of relief left my lips. It was the same tea that I had with Death in the purgatory. I had specifically asked him for the brewing recipe. He had complied with no complains.
" Dri? " I jump, startled at the little voice behind me. It was Harry holding on to his stuffed dragon. He insisted on having a muggle made stuffed animal rather than the magical one.
" Can't sleep? " I ask. While holding out my arms. He climbed up into my lap to straddle me and snuggled up on my chest.
" I had a bad dream. " he said. I held him close tucking him under my chin.
" Did you? " I ask rhetorically. He hummed into my chest.
" Me too. " I say slowly enjoying the warmth his embrace was providing me with.
" Really? " he asked half asleep. I hummed, his little hands started patting my back from where he had wrapped them around me. It somehow lulled me to sleep. Who knew I would find comfort in my own self.
Then again Harry was not me. He will never be me. I will not let him. He will grow up to be a normal happy adult. Not some suicidal maniac who has a hero complex.

The first thing I felt when I woke was a weight on my chest. My body felt sore. Especially my neck and back. I peeled my eyes open to see Harry wrapped around me, sound asleep. A few inches away I saw booted feet, I looked up a little to see Sabrina, sipping onto tea.
" Hello there! Any plans on waking up any time soon? " She asks. Just then I feel Harry shuffling on my lap. He awoke while still hugging me tight as ever.
" Good morning Dri " Harry smiled up at me. His smile being the contagious type brought a smile to my own face.
" Actually its almost noon. " Sabrina interrupted. Harry looked over to Sabrina and a smile instantly brightened his face. He shuffled out of my lap to go give Sabrina a hug.
" Sabby I missed you. " he said. The said Sabby chuckled at his sleepy state but returned the hug nonetheless. It had been a few months since I had brought Harry here, I passed all the three check ins, and Harry and Sabrina had grown quite close. Now Sabrina often visits the manor to see Harry.
" C'mon now lets go get freshened up and meet at the dining table. You will be there for breakfast? " I say directing the last part at Sabrina
" Lunch. But sure. I am here to take Harry out today. And he will be staying at my place tonight. I hope it hasn't slipped your mind. " she reminded. It totally did slip my mind. I had asked Sabrina to look after Harry. Today was Sirius's trail. I had applied for his trail a few weeks ago and today was the day. Yesterday I had also gone over to the burrow and using my invisibility cloak, I had captured Peter the rat.
" Yeah Yeah. I remember. " I say. Waving my hand dismissively. After Lunch I bid Harry and Sabrina and got down to work. I changed out of my tee and tracks into nice set of robes after a shower. I went down to the basement to pick the rat. I informed Melony that I headed out and apparate to the ministry.
I can already tell today's going to be a long day, and I want it to end already.
