I wanted Harry to be there at the trail. But I had yet to bring  up the topic of Harry's parents to him. Hell he doesn't even know how his parents died, or what he is in the wizarding world. It is unfair of me to do this without his knowledge but I am not ready to bring up that topic, mostly for my own mental sanity. Thinking that my parents died because of some power hungry old coot, just because he cant see anyone hold more power than him, infuriates me to no end.

I walk into the trail room, Sirius was already there, two aurors by his side. He looked defeated. I bit the inside of my cheek to control my anger. Dumbledore destroyed so many lives.

The trail went by smoothly for the most part. I stepped in when I had to, and presented Peter the rat, and forcing him to change back in front of everyone. Since there was still not much proof that Pettigrew was the one who killed the muggles and exposed the Potters, Veritaserum was used on both Sirius and Peter, Which ended with Peter in Azkaban and Sirius as a free man.

" Thank you. " Sirius had said  with tears in his eyes, before being taken to St Mungos  for healing. The demontors had done a number on him.  He had been compensated with 9000 galleons since he spent 9 years in Azkaban. But that wasn't nearly enough for the damage that has already been done.

" I am sorry, it took me so long to get to you." I had whispered after he left.  I had some more things to deal with before going back to the manor and plopping onto my favorite armchair. It was almost lunch time. And the house was so quite without Harry's little feet running around and his cheery laughter sounding from the walls. It hasn't even been a few hours since he is gone and I already miss him. How will I live when he starts school?

I had come into this world in February 1990, now it was already July. Harry's birthday was next week. I had planned to present Sirius as his second gift while the first gift will be a snake. I had recently, accidently discovered his love for snakes when I had found him in the garden talking excitedly to a green snake in parseltongue. It had ended with me joining their conversation and a lesson about parseltougue later in the evening. Harry had already started taking lessons from me. He was about as smart as a fourth year student at Hogwarts. And he was a quick learner too. He even learnt writing in parseltongue  pretty quickly.

Harry seemed to have an innate love for animals and books, so very unlike me. He was like the male version of Snow White-Belle combination.

The snake I was gifting Harry was mostly non-venomous and it had dark green scales. I had the snake kept in a tank in my study. Harry rarely goes there so it was the perfect place to hide it. I was also going to gift Harry the key to the Peverell library. He had been insisting on going there but I had promised him to allow him there after he turned eleven.

----

The day went by and night came along. I took a vail of dreamless-sleep potion to avoid anymore nightmares.

'What have you thought of doing about Tommy boy?' Death's voice sounded in my mind.

'Ah, I had totally forgotten about him.' I say. I needed to do something about him before he got his hands on Harry.

"I am not so sure yet. Should I kill him?" I ask Death.

'How about you give him a chance to change?' Death asks.

Now that I think about it. Voldemort wouldn't have come after me if not for the fake prophecy. Maybe I should give him a chance to change. And if he refuses to change his ways I can always kill him.

'That's right, You are much more stronger than him now.' Death adds. So that means I need to collect all his Horcruxes. And get the soul out of Harry too. But how will I get the soul out of Quirrell?

'Harry is turning 11 this month, which means School will start soon. And Quirrell will be there won't he?' Death said again.

"Yeah but how will I get inside Hogwarts? You know I cant apparate there." I say.

'How about I grant you a gift?' Death asks. I frown.

" What's with all the gift lately? " I ask.

" You are my Master, and by far the best one. So its okay for me to grant you a gift. " Death says.

" What is the gift? " I ask sighing.

'You know how I have been guarding your mind?' Death asks, I nod. ' Its something similar, I am also guarding your presence. You are already strong enough to apparate to Hogwarts, so even if you do, no one will find out.' Death explains.

" Oh, that will come in handy I suppose. I need to look for how to revive Tom back and reunite him with his horcruxes. I did see a book somewhere around in here which spoke about how to reunite Horcruxes." I say while getting up and looking around in the shelves for the book.

Secrets of the Darkest acts

That was the name of the book.
