(Thomas' pov)

" He is--"

" I am his Husband. And who might you be?." I blurt. There is silence for a moment.

" What?!" Both Hadrian and the man whose name I suppose is Sirius, yell.

" Since when?! why didn't you ever tell me?! Driii!!" Sirius whines more raising his hands again to cling on to Hadrian but I intervene and pull the Sirius guy away from him. I, for some reason didn't like Hadrian being touched by someone else, I am sure he doesn't like being touched too.

He always avoids touching me like I am plague, which hurts my feelings to be honest. Touching Hadrian the first time had felt amazing, it was just our fingers that brushed against each other while he handed me a book, but tingles and a weird warmth had rushed up my arm from the point of contact. It made me want to keep touching him. But it seemed like he didn't think the same by the way he practically snatched his arm away.

" Siri, he is kidding" Hadrian laughs it off.

"Could you wait here for a moment I need to have a word with this guy here. Tom! We need to talk!" Hadrian says whisper yelling the last part directing it towards me. And pulls me aside into his study. I hold back a chuckle when I see the said Siri's face.

" Husband?! Since when?! And why did you decide that on your own?! " Hadrian says as soon as he closes the door and turns to me, hands on hips . I stare at him, taking in all his features, although he looked paler since the day I had seen him at the muggles', he was handsome none the less, his green eyes had somehow become greener, and the black mob on his head was messy. Spending each day with him, as a part of Potter boy was excruciating. Imagine my surprise when I found him standing there when I opened my eyes in my new body. It was like a dream come true.

" Peverell, Remember how I said I wanted to get into politics, I heard you have Peverell seats and Fawley seats which apparently you do not intend on making use of as far as I have seen. The only way I can think of, to get those seats under my name is to be directly related to you. Marriage is the best way. " I explain. This was not a lie, but a major reason why I want to marry him is that I needed to get closer to Him.

" And Why didn't you think of discussing that with me first?! You didn't even ask me what I think about it! What if I dont want to marry you? " He huffs. He looked almost adorable huffing and puffing like an angry cat. " Also who said I dont intend to use my seats, I very much intend to use my seats, its just not the time right now." he says, folding his arms.

" Oh you do? what do you intend to do with them? pray tell I would like to know." I say, a frown takes over his features and his lips purse into a thin line.

" I do not intend on telling you know of my plans." He says. Now its my turn to frown.

"Why is that? " I ask, although I knew why he didn't want me included in his plans, I wanted to hear it from him.

" I do not trust you. " He says.

" What?"  I ask.

" I mean, You have been fine in the past few days, but your only human interaction has been with me after being back, which you could be pretending or just being nice since I helped restore your body. But when you go outside, Who knows what you will do..?  you might just kill someone if they looked at you the wrong way, and all the efforts I have gone through will go down the drain." he says.

" What? why would I-" I clench my jaw. Ah, That's right, I used to be Voldemort and I bet I haven't left the best of impressions on him. Did I kill someone related to him? Maybe a relative? but I haven't heard the name Peverell during my time as Voldemort,.

" You stay here, I have to go clear up the misunderstanding with Sirius." he sighs. Running a hand through his messy bed hair, he turned to leave but I grabbed his arm to stop him. I needed to get this under control. Tingles shoot up my arm and I clench my jaw to control myself, now is not the time.

" Peverell, I know I haven't done anything to be proven trustworthy yet, but you haven't given me a chance to do so. Didn't you say that I deserve a chance to change?"  I tell him. He struggles out of my grip and looks at me.

" I have given you that chance, You are here alive and breathing and not torn into pieces. Isn't that enough of a chance? " he says,

" Do you intend on keeping me locked here or something as apparently you do not trust me with the general public " I ask him almost sarcastically.

" I will do that if It means I can keep everyone safe" he says.

" Safe from what? Me?  I am not Voldemort, Hadrian. I was crazy to have ever done that but I am not him now. " I say, but he doesn't say anything and just leaves. I run my hands through my hair, this was frustrating. I thought we were making progress. What went wrong?

" Dri! Are you okay?" I suddenly hear Sirius yell, followed by a thump on the ground like as if someone fell. I rush outside only to see Hadrian on the ground unconscious, his nose bled, staining  the white fur mat below him.
