Harry's pov
I think Hadrian is sick. He has been eating lesser and lesser as days progress. I tried looking in all books that were in my room, no book seems to have a cure for these symptoms. I should check out the Peverell library, maybe I will find something there.
Loss of appetite, nightmares, insomnia, there might be many more things he is not telling us too. I try not to show it but I worry too much for him.
" You alright Harry? " Hadrian asks. We had come out to shop for school supplies today, since school was in three days.
" I am good. " I say with a smile as we enter Diagon alley.
" We could do this another day if you feel sick Harry. " Sirius says, He insisted on coming along. He was practically living at our manor since my birthday, not that I mind, he is just a little weird. Ekens, the snake Hadrian gifted me was wrapped around my wrist, hissed a little letting me know she was awake. I loved the little creature, she was just so adorable.
" No I am fine. Lets go. " I say
" Okay, lets get you a wand first. I would love to come shopping with you but I have some business in Gringotts, lets meet in an hour? " Dri suggests. Dri has been a little suspicious lately.
" What? what Business do you have there? Dont tell me! Do you have a secret lover or something that you are not telling us about? " Sirius gasped dramatically. Dri rolled his eyes.
" Yeah sure. Harry, I trust you will take care of this canine and yourself. Here, get yourself something too." He says pecking my forehead. Sirius fakes a hurt expression and goes on about how he can take care of himself and me. I scoff unconsciously and Dri laughs. We part ways Dri walks towards where I think Gringotts is and we go to Ollivander's wand shop. A ladder slid into my line of vision, on which an old man with white hair sticking out in every direction stood, his eyes twinkled and widened when he saw me.
" I wondered where I'd be seeing you Mr. Potter. " He said smiling at me. He descended his ladder and looked for something in the pile of boxes on the shelf.
" It feels like only yesterday that your mother and father were here buying their first wands." He said pulling out a box, opening it up and handing me the wand asking me to give it a wave. A few boxes flew out of their places. One box hit Sirius in the head and I laughed a little. Ollivander shook his head and pulled the wand out of my hands.
" I wonder...." He mumbled while looking for something. He came back with another box and handed me the wand. My magic hummed when I held it.
" Curious, Very curious." He said.
" Sorry Sir, but what's Curious? " I ask.
" I remember every wand that I have ever sold, Mr. Potter, it so happens that the phoenix whose feather resides in your wand gave another feather-- Just one other. It is curious that you should be destined to this wand when its brother gave you that scar." Ollivander explained as he moved his gaze from the wand in my hand to the scar on my forehead.
" Enough of your gibberish, we have got places to be and things to buy, come along Harry. " Sirius pulled me along with him I gave one last glance to Ollivander who looked at me with some kind of pity before tuning in to what Sirius was talking about.
We looked around for a little buying school books, quills, I bought some other books that I found interesting. Sirius went off to buy chocolates and and butterbeer. I went into Madam Malkin's to get my robes fitted for me.
The bell above the door dinged as someone entered. It was a man with long platinum-blonde almost white hair and a cold sharp gaze dressed in black robes and held a staff. A smaller boy who looked just like him, about my age emerged from behind him. His hair was slicked back and it reached a little below his ear, he was wearing black robes as well, his stature was that of a proud heir, but his shoulders were slightly hunched like as if he was burdened by something, what enamored me most about him was his pretty blue-green eyes, unlike the older man's evil looking icy-blue his eyes held a softness to them, the kind I had seen in Hadrian's eyes, they were also nervously like as if he was looking around for any signs of danger. I realized I must have been staring for too long at them and calmly turned my face away.
" Hello there Lord Malfoy. Give just a minute, let me finish up with Mr. Potter here. " Madam Malkin stated. He was a Malfoy..
" Potter? Do you mean he is The Harry Potte-" The bell dinged again and Hadrian entered.
" How's it going Harry? " He asked.
" He is almost done. " Madam Malkin answered in my stead.
" I see. "
" Oh, Apologies, I didn't see you there, Lord Malfoy, Pleasure to meet you, I am Lord Hadrian Peverell. This is My ward Harry Potter. " Hadrian says as I come to his side. He extends his hand for him.
" Apologies accepted Lord Peverell. As you know I am Lord Lucius Malfoy and this is my son Draco Malfoy. " He firmly shakes Hadrian's hand. Hadrian smiles at Draco.
" Lord Malfoy, This way please. " Madam Malkin interrupts.
" Yes, We will see you around, Lord Peverell. " He says.
" Sure. " Hadrian slips his arm around my shoulder we collect my robes and leave. We go to a few more shops to get a few more supplies and an owl but all I could think about were those blue-green eyes.
