The venue for Janelle's event was bathed in the soft glow of twinkling lights and echoed with the chatter of well-dressed attendees. Imani and Daniel had arrived to support her close friend's business venture. Janelle was more like family than just a friend, and Imani was thrilled to be part of this special evening.
Janelle greeted Imani and Daniel with a warm hug and introducing them to the crowd she was talking with before they came in. "Imani, Daniel, thank you so much for coming! I'm thrilled to have you both here. Let me show you around."
They made their way through the crowd, stopping to admire Janelle's new venture and the products on display. It was then that Janelle leaned in to whisper to Imani, "Listen I really need a little bit of help and there was only one option I could go with."
Imani looked at her curiously,
"The business is partly owned by Leonardo."

Janelle nodded. "He's one of the investors. He thinks it's a good investment and can be good for the community."
