Justine is sitting in the Celton Clinic exam room, next to her is Doctor "So doctor I wanted to ask about something.. my roommate.. She.. she accidentally drank half a Bottle of my milk.."

Doctor Taln takes out a clipboard and asks "how much did she consume and what has happened, how does someone accidentally drink your breast milk?"

Justine explains the situation to her doctor, at first wanting to be vague but eventually deciding honesty is the best thing to do since this involves her friend's health now too.

Doctor Taln finishes his notes. He sets his clipboard down loudly and sighs, for a man with limited expressions his sigh is angry and expressive "We occasionally get a volunteer who forgets to read some of the contract. Never in my entire career have I seen someone read so little. This is absolutely irresponsible and you are lucky that your friend doesn't glow in the dark. Do you have any idea of what risks may have happened? It was clearly outlined in the-"

He places his fingers on the bridge of his nose "Let's focus on what we CAN work on now that you have done this. Your roommate, you said she is now craving your breath milk to the point of almost a compulsive desire?"

Justine's head is hung low making eye contact with the floor "Yes, she is staring at my chest and from what I can tell she isn't showing a huge interest in other food. Once I start pumping she just gets incredibly fixated. After the bottle there's a lot more.. I dunno, I guess lucidity?"

Doctor Taln picks his clipboard back up "this was a stage we were eventually going to get to.. you've pushed the timetable forward by almost two years. Your ignorance has caused unpredictable results. In order for us to assist we will need to continue this study, and whether you like it or not your friend is now involved. Continue feeding your friend as needed I suppose, we don't need sample bottles this week. Next week we will have a plan on what to do."

Justine nods along still feeling like she is in trouble "Right.. I am sorry... Thank you for your help."

Arriving home Justine is expecting to see Lyla inside back from work, but all Justine sees is an empty couch and an empty kitchen. Lyla's room is cracked open, Justine goes to peek inside when she hears sniffles.

Justine "hey, you okay?"

Lylas voice thick with tears replies "yeah.. I.. I'm sorry, was I being too loud?.."

Justine opens the door fully and sits on her bed "No. Not at all, you don't have to worry about being loud when you are sad, what's wrong?"

Lyla sniffles "I'm just so sad today and I don't know what is going on, I had a miserable day at work and I couldn't focus and then today I got home and I'm just miserable and can't stop crying."

Lyla's tears start to intensify as she sobs. Justine reaches out to rub her shoulder a bit.

Justine softly says "Oh honey it's okay, come here I'm so sorry it was a tough day."

Lyla leans up a bit resting her head on Justine's lap and looking up at her.

Justine smiles sweetly "You have been going through a lot with work and I know home life has been really confusing lately. I wish I could help more.."

In between sobs Lyla asks "Did - the - doctor - *Sniffle* say - anything?"

Justine decides not to upset Lyla any further "He said that it was all okay. He has a few things to do and next week we may have extra tasks for us."

Lyla sniffles "Okay that sounds good."

Justine rubs her shoulder a bit more "I think you need a bottle, how's that sound? I had to pump some at the doctor's. Let me go get it okay?"
