An Old Flame

A/N Qi'ra pov now!

As I stepped onto the ship, I was filled with worry and shame about what I'd done when me and Han had last seen each other.

I had been part of the Crimson Dawn, the peak of the crime world at the time.

Now that the Crimson Dawn had fallen, I was free of that chained down life.

I had ditched Han there on that scrappy desolate world, alongside that faithful Wookiee.

 I wondered if he still had the Wookiee.

"Auurarurauguahhauha" Well, that answered my question (Translation: "Qi'ra! Long time no see, Aye?").

I turned around to face Chewbacca and he wrapped me in a massive hug.

"Nice to see you too, hopefully, this time, you won't ditch us." Said a voice from behind Chewbacca.

"Han. Please know that I am incredibly sorry for that. I had to finish off a deal."

"Ehh it's alright, I survived. Just please don't pull anything like that on us again." said Han.

You will never know just how grateful I was in that moment.

A/N Leia is like um maybe having a shower and getting ready to pick up Ben from daycare maybe while all this is happening?

"So, what do you need?"

"My hyperdrive is gone and I barely had enough fuel to make that transmission I sent, I need some help." I said.

"Huh. Our hyperdrive is fine, but we don't have any fuel we could give you. We're well stocked fuel-wise but-"

"General Solo! General Solo! Master Chewbacca demands to know why we haven't reached the Senatorial Building on Coruscant yet!" interrupted a golden protocol droid.

"Senatorial building? Coruscant? What are you, the Supreme Chancellor?" I joked teasingly.

I sighed. I had forgotten just how much I loved Han. He was, in my eyes, handsome, smart and witty. I had to admit, I was still very much in love with him.

"Ahh, no. I need to meet someone there." He replied, not offering up anymore information.

"Auauraururuuahghg" Said Chewbacca (Translation: "Leia's gone off with the escape pod to pick up Ben.")

A/N Qi'ra doesn't understand Wookiee.

"Really? She could've at least told me. I love that guy." Said Han.

I gulped. I had just visited Lando, and to my knowledge, they were as thick as thieves. Was he upset I hadn't told him? How sweet of him! Being protective of me and wanting to check in on his friends! 

I was desperately in love, and I was adamant Han was too.

"General Solo! General Solo! We are approaching the building now!" Said the golden droid.

"Great! I need to talk to Luke about something."

Han was famous for helping bring down the Empire so I assumed this was just one of Han's rebel friends.
