The point of memories is that they make us into who we are...

...
One of the earliest memories of that thing was when Hanako was twelve in Konohagakure.
It was days before the Chunin exams, and Hanako had asked Kakashi sensei to train with her.
A bead of sweat dripped down from Hanako's temple as she concentrated, hands forming a sign.
Kakashi sensei stood in front of her with his arms folded.
"Teleportation Jutsu is a rare gift usually passed down in clans. Your family was one of them." He said
Hanako gritted her teeth. " I know."
She took a deep breath, and her hands swiftly formed continuous handsigns.
She heard a soft poof, and she opened her eyes. She was 8 feet away from her starting position, behind Kakashi sensei, who just turned around
Hanako widened her eyes. It was the first time she had gotten that far before. It was a short distance considering a real battle, but for now, it was enough.
She smiled. " Finally." She muttered. Kakashi sensei approvingly.
" That's good. Try it again."
Hanako continued activating the Jutsu wuth success. After a while, Kakashi sensei prompted Hanako to spar him.
It went as per usual. Hanako tried to use her other Jutsu- Rafflesia shield and venus fly trap-and Kakashi sensei dodged, trying to land blows at her her.
That day, Hanako was feeling good. She moved more swiftly than usual, and managed to activate her jutsus with less difficulty. She felt excited.
She reached out her fist at Kakashi sensei and caught him by surprise.
But not at her attack. It was the fact that Hanako's yellow eyes had turned silver.
Kakashi sensei blocked her punch and stared again. Her eyes had turned to normal but....
A vine had emerged from the ground, wrapping him from the ankles, to the knees and thighs, to the adomen, and around his neck. It sprouted vibrant flowers. Kakashi sensei reckoned that if he touched one of them, they would expel poisonous powder at him.
Hanako seemed as shocked as he was. She took three steps back, eyes wide. Kakashi sensei grunted at the restraints around him.
Just at that moment, the vine went limp, and wilted away, dying at high speed and eventually disintegrated.
Kalashi sensei, free from the vine, immediately stepped forward and asked, " How did you do that?"
Hanako simply shook her head. Not understanding anything. Kakashi sensei told her to try again and she did.
But it didn't work. She tried to bring it out with all she could but failed.
C'mon..C'mon! This move could be really useful!
Suddenly, just as a vine started to appear, the ground trembled. Hanako and Kakashi sensei widened their eyes as the former was enveloped in chakra the colour of midnight blue.
A six pointed star burned on Hanako's cheek. She felt horrified and excited at the same time. She felt the earth go hay wire. She wasn't even sure if it was good or bad.
There were only two things she was sure off.
One, things were going to be a lot more different back then.
