Long Chapter Update! The real drama is beginning!!
Chase's P.O.V
Iris sure was surprising me lately. I didn't expect her to show up at all when I left the farm, and I expected even less for her to keep the true nature of the deal from my parents. Thankfully she did both and now I have the deal with Ivan and there is still a chance to sell the farm. As I pulled up to the hotel, I sat back and took a deep breath, trying to clear my mind and get some fresh air before I walked in. More than anything though, I was trying to clear my mind of Iris.
She was different this time around. It was clear that she still had a thing for me but she wasn't as naive as she was when I left six years ago. I couldn't just smile and watch as she would fall into my arms and do whatever I asked. Now she started to ask questions and go looking for answers. I actually couldn't say I was surprised by her wardrobe.
As I got out of my car and began walking into the bed and breakfast, I couldn't help but think about how cute I always thought she looked in those oversized overalls. I know she didn't own much besides those and the dresses my mom sewed and bought her for church on Sunday, but she always managed to look so effortlessly cute while being so messy. She was always two years under me though, like a little kid with a crush. She sure wasn't a kid any more... even if she still held the innocence of one.
As the fresh air hit me inside, I looked down to the ground smiling a bit at how much Fiester Iris had gotten with me. I know she had a surprise temper at times, but she was all smiles and stuttering around me.
"Baby!!" I suddenly heard from above making me stop and my smile dropped. Please let this be a dream. I looked up to see Cammie standing in front of me. This timing couldn't be worse. "Aren't you happy to see me!?" She chirped, walking over to me and wrapping her arms as I put on a smile, hugging her. She pulled away, tossing her blonde hair and batting her blue eyelashes. She was hot and was a big raise in standard from the girl's I spent time with before moving to the city, but she was also my boss's daughter which was always a risk.
"Of course, I am... How did you know I was staying here?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I just asked Garrett and he told me you went back to your hometown on some business, and considering I have access to the account records, it wasn't hard to see where the company card was being charged," she said, proud of her spy work. Cammie was nosey as well, which was never a good thing. She thankfully was more focused on shopping than trying to put her skills to any use.
"Uh well, let's go back to the room," I said, shrugging my shoulders. I figured her pink suitcase meant she didn't plan on leaving tonight.
She nodded her head, as I grabbed her luggage and continued to my room. I'd have to get rid of her before she caused too much of a stir. I mean I did like her. She tended to act less high maintenance when we were alone, but I would be lying if I didn't say it was more lust that drew me in. Besides, with this kind of deal at stake, I couldn't let the boss's daughter go unhappy, now, could I?

Iris's POV
"So you just kissed him?" Raymond asked as I stumbled around my room, putting on a pair of jeans and trying to shake off the massive headache I had.
"I sipped on one too many fruity drinks, okay. Nothing like I had done before," I said tripping over my feet as I put my shoes on, tying up my laces quickly. "Time check?" I asked, seeing as he huffed checking his phone.
"7:45. Now tell me what happened exactly. I want no details left out! And don't forget about Ivan," He harped as I shook my head, grabbing the bottle of ibuprofen from the table and taking two.
