They had in fact some technical difficulties. One of the spot-lights could barely be controlled anymore and the boxes through which the sound of the piano should flow decided to decline their job at some point.
Therefore saying it was pure chaos, what was going on around the two cuddled men on the couch in the room they made to their "meet up and figure out what to do"-room, would honestly be an understatement. People of Louis's team he had never seen before were running back and forth, managers were calling for every- and no one, Oli tried to calm the band and Micheal and Matt risked going back on stage to help some engineers with the piano because they couldn't stand still.
And in the middle of it, were said men, were Louis and Harry. Both, too anxious to be forced to end their performance; too anxious to perceive and understand what was happening. In more than ten years of life in the music industry they had never been in such a hectic tangle during a show and this fact made them even more nervous. In addition Harry was concerned about his blue-eyed, on his side curled husband and mentioned man confronted with a variety of memories, not matching and making it hard to stay calm.
Harry and himself, fighting over nothing because they were overwhelmed by new stunts and rules.
His mother, who hugged Harry tightly; kissed his cheeks and smiled on him with the warmest smile she could form once they opened up about their relationship.
Their wedding and the "forever" in the taller man's vow.
Fizzies death.
One Direction's last performance as a band and how much he had cried afterwards.
"Tomlinson!!! Did you understand what I just said?!". Louis literally fell out of his thoughts into the words of the man in front of him and jolted up, out of Harry's arms, which gave him the security and room to face those pictures and it needed him a couple more seconds to comprehend who was talking to him. Mark. Part of his management he barely had to get in touch with and he definitely wasn't sad about it. Mark was no one to do jokes with and he looked as less amused, as the blue-eyed had listened to "what he just said.". God, he really had to become focused again.
"Hmm?", he sent a for help searching glimpse to his husband, leaning back next to him, but stayed in a straight sitting position. The attempt to get back what he subconsciously surely perceived failed and the cold and provoking eyes of his manager didn't really help the by and by uncomfortable man. He knew Mark wouldn't repeat himself and let out a relieved breath, one he didn't even realise he held, in the moment Harry quietly spoke up.
"We'll get some time in addition. Can go back in 5."
And much to the disapproval of the man who was still standing with them, he pressed a short kiss against Louis' forehead. To comfort him, to calm him, to show him he was right here. Next to him. Because he was aware that things went through his husband's head, which challenged him, like they did directly after "Two of us". He was worried and he wanted to hold up the place, where Louis had to find a way back from by himself. He had been properly sure it would get him with him; get in on said place where Jay and Fiz weren't that far away and still: He was worried about him. About Louis, who seemed to finally understand what the spoken words meant and who let out a surprised, but joyful chuckle; who had told him it was bloody perfect they sang the song about his mother together... He himself wasn't that sure.
